| She did it! She actually barked,, I was begining to think Leiloni didn't know how to bark. She snorts at people she doesn't know or when she wants to play. That is until today. It's a really nice outside so we have the front door open but since we don't have a screen door we have a baby gate so keep her from walking out. Well my sons came over and she was doing the head tilting thing when she heard his car drive up. But when he poked his head in she went crazy! I even think I heard her snarl at him. She's got herself a powerful bark for being such a tiny little thing.

| When I was a child we had a Pekingese who was eight years old before he barked for the first time! He looked so astonished when he did it. |

| Just a couple of days before my husband came home from work and like every day she greets him at the door (it's so cute) we had just finished a photo shoot so she was dressed like we were going somewhere special. He picked her up and said,,, "look at you, you are way to spoiled and prissy to even bark. Some guard dog you are" she sure showed him! Gus was a barker from the get go. It was really cute at first hearing is puppy barks but then he developed tiny dog syndrome and thought he was a rottie or something and barked at everything and oh boy he sure did protect his momma,,, I was well protected by my 3 pound momma's boy!

| I used to think the same about Jack. We call him big mouth cause he has such a big mouth for such a little guy. Oh he gets in so much trouble for his big mouth. |
