Bread Box for sale.... anyone need one? It is solid wood, with an airtight interior... but unbeknownst to me, Vinnie is adamantly against them, my bad I forgot to check with him before I purchased it......After 48 hrs of trying everything under the sun, including covering it up, putting things in front of it etc..etc..etc...I have finally moved it to the basement and have decided to part with my new breadbox:( I also may have a brand new TV available...not sure yet...see I've not had it on in months and months...so far Vinnie does not approve of anything I watch...if we can't agree soon, the TV will have to go:( Oh and I also have some curtains, Vinnie only likes blinds:( I will do anything for my Vinnie:):):):) |
Great.... now how about your shoes. I heard he doesn't like shoes. Gonna sell those too? :p Oh, your little man Vinnie is such a character.:D:D:D P.S. I was going to skip the smilies, just for you, then I noticed you used some.:thumbup: WTG Lynzy:D |
awww, poor Vinnie! Maybe he knows yummy stuff goes in the breadbox & he thinks he should have some? :D Dunno what to say about the tv & the curtains but at least you've solved the curtain problem by replacing them with blinds. |
Maybe he thinks it should be a biscuit box? |
I am such a sucker. I thought you were serious at first. I want to add my two ugly carved beach birds to the for sale list. Maybe we could work out a trade. Barney is certain they have invaded our house. Although we do encourage the naughty behavior and command him to "get them" when he starts his tirade. |

Taking your lead, guess I should sell my big den window curtain rod that Tibbe dislikes so much. He goes along with it for the longest time but just on certain days when I am closing or opening the curtains and it makes the sound he doesn't like when the curtains are being moved - kind of a little creak - he's incensed or scared - one of the two reactions. He's either barking wildly at it or just leaves the room for a while; and then shoots dagger looks at me for making the the noise of opening/closing the curtains. I'm convinced he holds it against me for having it at all and will look askance at me for a long time after the curtain rod has made the noise, as if he is trying to send me a silent, not too friendly message. So, anyone needs a long curtain rod about 72" long? I'm sure it would thrill Tibbe to see it go. Guess I could just tape the curtains over the window. :O |
LOL you crack me up!!! |
If we are selling things that our dogs don't like, I guess I gotta get rid of the bathtub... |
Cute Kitty, free to good home:rolleyes: |
I have a neighbor that I'm willing to sell for cheap. First offer wins. |
Hmm I'd be willing to part with my Dyson sweeper but that my OCD would kick in and that would not be pretty. |
You guts are hilarious and so much fun!!! I need fun today after a rough night. I'm trying to think of what Jasper might sell....cant think of anything. However, Bella might just give Jasper away.:D |
Abby would like to sell- well give away would be fine- The dishwasher! She thinks it's a scary box that has bumping and whooshing ghosts locked inside! |
He's a wee bugger that Vinnie hahahahahaha oh Lynzy so funny |
I'm waiting for your house to go up for sale... lol! |

Wouldn't it be easier to just get rid of the dog???????????????? Oh stop it! I was only kidding. Adie is the same way with anything new that is bigger than her and that is just about everything. She has never forgiven me for ironing or using the vacuum! |
Literally LOL.!! Quote:
&& This post is too darn cute.:aimeeyork |
Funny thread all together. I agree. I've said I before, but I truly do get a kick out of coming onto this community board. It can truly make me feel better about my day at times. : ) Thanks. XO |

Well I brought it back upstairs and planted it in the middle of the dining room rug..........:D Vinnie has not accepted it yet.... He still barks at it...my girlfriend wants to draw a face on it...hahahahha Its funny when he has to pass by it...he gets to the breadbox and then runs past it like its going to chase him! He is so stinking funny! |
I loved reading this one :-) at first I thought Vinnie was your husband ... that's so hilarious :-) my pug was scared of DVD cases ... and would run around the house in a kind of crazy clown way when we showed one to him ... if it was sitting on a table or shelf it was fine .. only when we showed it to him ..... also this thread reminds me I really want to get a bread box ... I'm from Australia where we all had one but her in Seattle people insist on putting bread in the fridge .... YUK!! :-) :-) |
And the thought that your shoes are kept in your car so he doesn't get upset makes me giggle uncontrollably! It's hard to decide who needs therapy the most.. LMAO |
Try acting like it's another puppy. Saying.. good boy.. good boy and pet it. It works good to get a puppy to come to me at bath time.. LOL However.. do it in private.. LMAO |

Well we are learning to drink coffee in our palms. Its hard to get your fingers to go tight enough together to be leak proof, cuz you see... Fletch has a real problem and fear of coffee mugs. IF we put it down on the floor, he'll run by it super fast as far away from it as he can get then look back at it, making sure it has not moved! He's too funny! |
So funny .. the pictures in my mind are awesome .. I was out with an old friend yesterday and he was telling me about his dog Carson.... he's afraid of anything over his head that's flat ..... even a piece of paper ... my friend found him frozen in place ... turns out there was a piece of paper hanging over the edge of the dinning room table ... he was doing his taxes ... he must have walked near the table and then saw the paper above him ... instead of running he just freezes in place till some one comes and rescues him ... funny but sad at the same time ... oh he's scared of his own poop as well and runs as fast as he can across the yard to get away from it once its out .... he had a string stuck, hanging almost to the ground, in there as he'd chewed up a rope toy .... now he thinks he's pooping monsters that's are going to attack him ...... also funny but sad at the same time ... |
