I finally decided to go with a particular breeder. After over 20 (+)(investigations) of breeders. I found a breeder by the name of Deb Sillers of AMAZING YORKIES. Everything about her gave me the feeling of her being the one in which I would be able to find my perfect match. I have read nothing but good things about her & her Yorkies.!

I am quite knowledgeable as far as training methods & health & diet.

-I will be crate training as far as getting a good potty training schedule
-I may travel with my princess from time to time & would need to potty pad train her. It gets hot in Texas & any duration of time in any unsettling weather will not be allowed for my princess. So I figured this would be the best method. I did purchase washable pads & will give these a whirl.
-I have been suggested to feed Fromm Gold puppy food. So hopefully I get great results from this.
-I will keep my baby's hair long so I was also recommended Chris Christensen System Products. & Pure 100% coconut oil.
-I have a family vet that I use for all my animals & have had nothing but great experience with them.

If you can provide any additional info or reviews on anything that I have discussed PLEASE feel free.! I am a nerve wreck until I finally have my precious baby in my hands. As I will be taking her EVERYWHERE. As she truly was my own kid. : )

Congratulations on your upcoming pup. When will you be getting her? Have you picked a name yet, or are you waiting until she is home?

You are very lucky to be getting one of Deb's pups.... she is an excellent breeder and very well respected here. I'm sure you will hear that over and over, especially from the owners who have been fortunate enough to get one of her Amazing Yorkies.

Waiting is hard, but you can rest assured that having done your homework in picking an excellent breeder, the hardest part is behind you.

I should be able to get her towards the end of September or October-ish. Yes I decided on a name. It is officially Minnie Moonshine. Hehe. My daughter used to love watching Mickey Mouse && Im a big fan of Disney. Its the original character & my baby will be quite small so I figured it would be a great representation of her size as well. Moonshine is after my mother. Whose last name is Luna. Which in Spanish means Moon. So thats where that pretty much derived from. Although I am quite a country gal && we southern folks know about moonshine.! He He....

I will also have her spayed prior to me receiving her. So this may be a delay in receiving as well. Which Is fine. I'm willing to wait for my perfect baby. I cant wait.!!!

Since I have stumbled across this forum. I have found such great info and ideas. I'm already stopping in EVERY store I would even think would have pet stuff.

Has anyone heard anything about Fromm Gold Pet Food.? I would be hoping to get my pup onto this. As this is what I have been recommended.

How old is Minnie? Do you have any photos from Deb? We'd love to see her.... very exciting getting a new baby:D

She will be I believe 12 weeks in the middle of September. I have not yet picked her out of the group quite yet. But will VERY soon. I will def post pics when I get some and obviously get her. I'm tooooo excited and anxious.

Lucky you! Deb has gorgeous babies.

I'm not sure what Deb feeds her puppies, but I would recommend you keep your princess on it for awhile after you get her home. Puppies can have sensitive tummies and need to be switched over to new foods slowly.

Brush - Li'l Pals Slicker Purple and Green Brush for Kittens, Extra Small - slicker brush that I find it to work awesome... just make sure you get one without any ball on the ends of the pins so it doesn't snag the long hair.

Comb - Groomaster Finishing Dog Comb - this is a great eye comb, I have it and use it to get eye boogies out and even to use around their butt when they get some dry puppy stuck!

So happy for you. Deb is a wonderful breeder with beautiful puppies. I am hoping when the time comes for us to add another we can be lucky enough to be chosen to love one of hers.

I am surprised to hear you will have her spayed before receiving her, I thought vets did not do it at 12 weeks??

That seems way to young, i would want them to be six months or older..congrats on your Amazing baby and welcome to YT

If I'm not mistaken, Minnie is one of the dogs that Deb was holding back as a show potential, so she is old enough to be spayed prior to going to her new home.

I could be mixing pups up in my head though...it wouldn't be the first time :) I would trust Deb's judgement.

Ok, forget my last comment. I WAS mixing Minnie up with an older dog that Deb held back.

I have a pup from Deb Sillers and so do others here...all I can say is PERFECT....and you are on the right track all the way around, I personally don't use the pricey products but all the power to ya....Vinnie has perfect hair with the shampoo I use.

I've not had one single problem with him health, eating, or training....he trained me immediately:eek:

HAHA, What a great joy.!! I am sooooooo happy I have heard not 1 (-) thing about Deb Sillers (Amazing Yorkies) .. This makes me ecstatic that the fact that I truly went with my heart, Something pushed me. && I haven't had the same with another breeder of yorkies, that I personally came across. I am a great person of detail to where even the smallest thing can turn me away from a person. I sometimes am quite harsh. Especially when emotions are involved. Therefore, Deb has such a great heart throughout her posts & all the way to her health guarantee. So check yes to saying, seeing and doing. She nailed them right on the head.! I can't wait to finally get my baby in my arms. She will be a forever good luck charm and already I love my dog as my own child. I appreciate such a loving addition to me & my (REAL-lol) daughters life. I know the love I had for my previous yorkie was soooo awesome. I'm finally excited to push myself to give it a go. Well I am excited for both of you!!!!! I was just looking through my photos of Hannah when I brought her home back in February 2013. They grow so fast. She is 9 mos. old now and I love her more with each passing day. There are soo many helpful threads on this site so maybe logging on and going through some of them might help you pass time until your little angels get home. Have fun!!

So excited for your little girl, as I wanted a girl at first:p but I was looking for an older puppy and Deb told me about Chevy. It was like he was for me because he was the exact age I needed. His name is what sold my husband lol I'd love to chat the next 3 weeks are going to be torture! How old is your puppy?

Yes it does, It also helps me find new products and amazing little nic naks that I feel that the pup "needs" lol. Im sure hoping time flies. As my money out of my wallet sure is. HE HE:eek:
