Great post on the importance of having a good fitting harness. Sophie Kate is a Buddy Belt kinda girl in fact we just ordered a new one this weekend during the sale (which a matching leash). She will probably never have as many as Yazmin but honestly that picture with her fanned out around her sold me on getting the Hot Pink. I really need to try the choke free also, I like to make recommendations to the people I work with at the Rescue and always state try a Buddy Belt and Choke Free. |
]All the pups looks adorable in their harnesses! Since we are on the subject of harnesses, does anyone know of an "escape proof" harness? Henri is notorious for getting out of harnesses, he has been dubbed the "Houdini of the dog world" due to him being able to get out of every harness I have tried. I have tried roughly 5 types and he gets out of all of them, I have tried: standard, vest, some mesh over the head one (can't find a pic of it), a nylon "perfect fit" one, and another that I can't remember. He doesn't slip out often, but when he does it's at the worst possible times. Any suggestions? if you try a car harness it's a bit unorthadox but their a lot more adjustable and are padded around the back and chest they work a treat |

Well, Henri got out of his harness again so I broke down and bought a Buddy Belt. I decided that his safety is worth the money plus I used the 20% off coupon so that at least brought it down a little. I got him the classic Caramel color (it was a hard choice, there are so many pretty colors!). I really hope this harness works, I really really do... but I figured if it doesn't I could always resell it on here and make back some of the money I spent. Another thing is I hope I don't become addicted to the BB like the rest of you, I can't afford it!:p:D |

Jeez, I was struggling with the fact of just buying one! She looks like she has one for any and every occasion ;) |
I remember reading on one thread that the bb didn't fit someone's dog because the dog was too long and lean & it rubbed under the arms or something. Since that is how Huey is built, I was thinking about trying the choke free. Looking at the pics, though, I cannot figure out how the choke free is fastened. I know the bb has a buckle on the top, but all I can tell on the choke free is that it has a d-ring coming through a slit but no obvious fastener. Could someone who uses one help me? I wouldn't do well with anything that buckles because Huey Houdini can get one leg out as I get the other one in and I need something that latches down quickly  His hair is so long that every harness we have ever tried ends up in a tangled mess. |

I also have a Buddy Belt that I really like, too. They look really dressy. I need more colors in each one! |
