That must have been terrifying, sorry you and Jada had to go through this...but so thankful you were able to save her. Thanks to your quick thinking, the vet being so close...God was watching over her for sure, this I truly believe. |
Thank you all for your sweet concern for Jada. I have been chopping her kibble and putting warm water over it until it is soft. It's working like a charm so far. I didn't want to leave it dry because I know she will still just inhale it and it would still be a choking hazard. She doesn't mind eating this way and it has really slowed her down. So far no signs of any lung issues and she is still on her antibiotic and luckily no tummy upsets from it. We raised two rambunctious boys and I didn't have them at the doctor, near as much as I have had these two furbabies :p |
Oh my goodness Michelle, thank goodness all is ok now....what a complete nightmare for you both. A big licky kiss to Jada from Harry, and a big hug from me :) xxx |
Oh how scary! I'm so glad you were there to save Jada! Your story inspired me to print out the first aid instructions so ill be prepared in an emergency! Jadas story may save a life. |
