| Sight problem maybe I have noticed recently that Zoey will get very close to a surface - about 3" - and just stare at the surface like she sees something. Sometimes she actually looks like she is trying to bite an invisible "thing". Do you think she might have floaters and thinks they are bugs or something? She doesn't have any problem seeing birds and rabbits in the yard fron inside the house. She is 3 yrs old. I will discuss this with the vet during her next visit. Any thoughts?

| Never had that happen so can't help. My previous Yorkie lived 11 years and could not see well when she got older. My current Cali sees everything - actually sees the TV. Hope the vet can give toy some help. I wished I had had an eye exam earlier for mt previous Yorkie.

| I would definitely mention this to your vet. My parents' shih-tzu lost her sight in the last few years of her life and got around just fine.

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Interesting theory on the floaters - that's an excellent thought. I'd def have the vet take a good look at her eyes next time you have her in.
