| ![]() So, my girl only ways 3 lbs. but, she's TERRIFIED of thunder. So whenever we have storms she just cries and whines all night. She sleeps in her crate and for the most part, she's fine. It's just when there's really strong wind or thunder that she freaks out. I'm just scared of turning over and hurting her. Anybody have a word of advice? |

| ![]() Hello and welcome! We have two little ones, well big compared to yours - mine weigh 5 and 7 pounds. Both of them sleep with us (I wouldn't have it any other way) and trust me, you become aware of their presence and more than likely will not roll onto her. If you do, she will move or make a noise and you will wake up. Good luck with your decision.

| ![]() Hi welcome to you & Allie! My little 2 1/2 # Ricky slept with me for 10 years....never had a problem. I am a VERY restless sleeper but Ricky was smart enough to move when I did lol.

| ![]() A bed isn't complete without a cat and dog sharing it with you ![]() ![]() I'm sure Allie will be fine and will love snuggling up to her Mum and you'll both have a really good sleep (((HUGS))) |

| ![]() I'm not one that likes sharing the bed with any pets. My Jess sleeps in a large crate in my daughters room. Just the sound of my daughters breathing calms her. |

| ![]() If you do decide to let her sleep with you, get some steps and make sure she is thoroughly trained. My biggest fear would be her jumping off the bed more than rolling over on her. |

YT 2000 Club Member | ![]() Tatiana is now 2 lbs and Teeka is 3.....they both have slept with us from day one! We have never rollled or knocked them off the bed. The only time they are on the bed is when I am in it......Teeka won't jump off the bed and Tatiana doesn't leave my side. If she would be less fearful of storms, let her sleep with you!

| ![]() Well we have a number of dogs and cats in our house and at night I usually end up with at least 3 dogs and two cats (I have a kind size bed). I love having them on my bed especially in the winter. They keep me warm. My friend has a twin bed and she ends up with at least 3 dogs and a cat or two. One of the 3 dogs is a basset hound so it's really funny to watch. Cleo, the basset hound is stretched out on the bed and my friend is hanging off the side trying to keep her balance. |

| ![]() Bella always sleeps with me. She was in the crate for maybe the first week then I just had to have her with me. Lol, last night she even asked to go to bed. I was settling in to watch a movie and she sat in front of me, she kept barking to get my attention. I finally said, " do you want to go to bed" and she ran upstairs. We went up to bed and passed right out. I watched the movie in bed.

| ![]() Welcome to Yorkie Talk. I was afraid too that I would roll over on one of the pups, but they move out of the way fast enough. ![]()

| ![]() Lexi slept in her crate for the first couple of weeks for the same reason, but I just couldn't take it any longer. She's been in the bed every since. I'll bet if you let her sleep in the bed just one night, you'll never be separated again. Scared of those big, bad storms. ![]()

| ![]() Barney (6 months) and Anna ( 6 years) sleep with us. She doesn't mind her crate though and if she is having a wiggly night, I put her in her crate which is beside our bed. Barney has his own blanket to sleep on down by our feet but often ends up sleeping between us during the night. Max (almost 15) does not. He has a collapsed trachea and if he were in our room, no one would be able to sleep. He sleeps on the couch in the living room. It works out well for our group. However, DH said we need to upgrade to a king size bed. |

If you're afraid of her being squashed, then put an appropriate sized little bed on your bed, and make sure she knows "that's" where she should be. She'll get used to being there, and you'll get used to knowing that she is. The way our society is today, I take great comfort knowing that one or more of my guys are right there with me. Their hearing, scent ability and being light sleepers lets me get a good night's rest. This close proximity will probably suppress any complaint from her about the weather as well. Your gentle touch and a rub when she needs it, will give her as much comfort as her presence will for you.
