Jeepers Crepers take a look at my peepers? 1 Attachment(s) Background; Girl 'Crystal' born 1/11/13, we re-homed her June 18th this year, to a quiet retired couple home, with no other pets. Good natured little soul, who desperately wants to please. I'm concerned that our little girl may be suffering from bits of hair irritating her eyes (see pic). I've tried with pure drinking water for the past month, eye cleaners (not Angel Eyes), eye pads, etc. She is just six months, so is probably still teething, but at times the stains look as if her little peepers are infected. I'm sure this is not the case as they're very clear. What do you think folks? |
Probably a combo of teething and those little hairs by her eyes. Try doing something to smooth that hair away from her eyes..some sort of hair/top knot gel or vaseline or something. |

Oh, I remember that stage. You can dab the eye goop off everyday with a wet washcloth. It does help keep it away. Hopefully the hair will grow quickly. |
Katie is not a baby, and that is a huge difference, but I use a Madan mustache comb or a Chris Christensem face/leg comb on her face. They are only 4.5 inches long, and they really help to comb the hair away from the eyes. I don't like cutting the hair on the nose. Eventually the longer hair will help to weigh the hair down. Once you cut it, you always have to cut it. I agree that teething is probably contributing, and the hair is probably irritating her eyes. I love your stories of your little girl! |

I use a flea comb to get the goo out of Zoey's eyes. I also read on one of the threads that nursery water worked well. Zoey tears a lot so I'll probably stop by the store this weekend to get some and try it out.. |

I'll keep a watch on her little megs, they all look beautiful and so white, she loves her chew sticks in particular by the way and I hope she always will. |
