Biddy is in trouble... Well, last night I heard Biddy playing with a tag or a piece of paper. I got up to look and she was batting around a $20 bill! Ok, as if that's not crazy enough - I didn't know where the $20 came from...until I saw that she had unzipped my purse and taken the $20 out! We think that she's been stealing from my purse to buy greenies from the pitbull that hangs on the corner. Does anyone know the street value of greenies these days? I think she's been buying dime bags of teenie-greenies... |
:D That is one smart puppy! I don't know about the street value of greenies, they probably have gone up since my dog kicked the habit! Just make sure he doesn't move up to the hard stuff! :D |
Had to laugh at this one because I lost $200 out of my billfold from my gang. Sad to say but $$$ is so dirty and covered with how many McDonald meals that they love it! Now just to prove how dumb I really am and didn't learn my lesson the 1st time, a couple of months later I left my purse on the floor again and this time it was $50.00 :eek: When I took the torn bills to the bank they just started laughing at me and asked did I have any more pieces and I said yes but I wasn't going to pull them out of the presents they left for me in the backyard. All in all I lost $150.00 :rolleyes: |
Wow your yorkies are big spenders !!! The most my girls will ever get out of my purse is a DOLLAR and I guess they figure it isn't worth the trouble cause a dollar sure doesn't go far !! Funny yorkies - Biddy is starting to sound like a little pick-pocket - at least she knew to go for the big bills !!! |

Ooohhhhh, those street greenies could be laced with pup-peroni's or worse...raw hides. You must nip this behavior in the bud or eventually she will start pawning your electronics to feed her habit ;) PS Caught Trace shredding a 20 dollar bill myself once.....I thought he was planning on visiting that loose, standard poodle, Sophie, but NOW...hmmmm, I have my suspicions...... |

Too funny!!!!!! I have to greatfull that Gus has never taken money out of my purse. He can open the zipper to get to my gum. It's my fault. I once hid his ball in my purse because he was using the clean clothes to dry the slobber off of it. After some time of trying,,, he got it opened. Now he is a master of zipper opening. I can't leave my purse on the floor anymore or anywhere he can reach. |
These cute little things that our dogs do can be so dangerous. My pup (not my Yorkie) took a pill out of my purse once ate it. This could have had killed her, but didn't. The same dog took some Nicotine gum out of a wastepaper basket and chewed on it for a while. She lived through this also - but was bouncing off the walls all night. Same dog - learned to check the pockets of my coats and jackets if I hung them on a chair...caught her eating lifesavers and gum doing this. I know now that I have to be very careful with absolutely everything...even where I hang my jacket. I guess they're not much different than little children. Have to watch them every minute!! And keep everything out of reach. Carol Jean PS: My dogs have never gotten into $$$$ -- but my little brother flushed $140 down the toilet once. Couldn't get that back!!! |
