| Names for a male yorkie? After talking with my family, we've all decided on getting another Yorkie. I want to get a male, but I'm having a hard time coming up with names. I had Zoey's name picked out the day before we picked her up haha. I named her after the character 'Zoey' from the tv show Zoey 101. Don't worry Zoey is spayed now, so there will be no accidental puppies or anything. These are some male names I've come up with: Stewie (yes, named after stewie from family guy) Yoshi Buster

| My wife bred Yorkies when she was about 16, her males name was Jasper. If you want some different, out of the ordinary names, try going with some characters from some favorite movies, I would go for Bobba or Bosk, being a huge Star Wars fan, maybe even Jaba or Greedo. Yes the dark side calls to me, but have fun picking out the name. Cheers Quad

| I was able to meet and spend time with Huey as well as his siblings from birth until we brought him home, so dh and I just watched and waited...and, as expected, he named himself a few weeks in. I would pick put several names, then wait until you meet him and see what fits the best. One name that I have never seen on a yorkie but would go well with Zoe is Zeke. (Ezekiel-I picture a more serious attitude) There is also Ziggy (if he is too happy-go-lucky to be a Zeke), Zeus (I think this would fit a bigger yorkie) or even Zorro (if he acts especially cunning) These interpretations of these names are mine alone and have nothing to do with any definitions of what the names really mean-it is how I, personally, feel the names. Good luck on finding the new furbaby!

| I like both stewie and yoshi. I had a bunny named buster. For me, buster is more for a bunny than a dog My boy is called Rufus (the naked rat from the cartoon serie kim possible )

| If our Ziva and Abby got a brother it would have to be Jethro, McGee, or Duckie! Just keeping with the NCIS theme... |

YT 1000 Club Member | I think you're very wise in getting a Male. I've witnessed the relationship between my Male and Female, on a level which Humans just can't match. It's something that just puts a "balance" into the Pack Mentality. As far as a name... Bosco Ziggie Munch Rufus Fonzie

Donating YT 3000 Club Member | Saber's original name was Buster lol Stewie is a cute name for a yorkie. Just think Stewie is little baby but inside he is a man. Yorkies are little but have a big dog inside. They want to take over the world ! One cute face at a time
