Miley's hair I feel like Miley has a lot less hair on the top of her head than other pups here her age. It could be because the groomer cut her bangs so now less goes into her too knot but her top not never looks good to me. Aside from my horrible skills, it just looks thinner to me. |
Is she growing her golden hair on top yet? ( breaking color might be the terminology!) When Cinders started that, her hair seemed thinner. It still seems thin compared to her fabulous puppy fur. I'll be watching for responses, Cinders could use some help too! ;) |

Tatiana's hair on the top of her head is really thin, too! I would like some insight into this, too. She doesn't keep a bow in very long and rolls to get it out, so maybe she is loosing hair this way.....:questione |

Aww...her little face is so cute!! It does look like her bangs were cut so that it doesn't have enough length to go into the top knot. Yoshi's hair is thinner than Prima's. His hair looked similar to Miley's at that age. Prima just has really thick hair. I think once Miley's bangs grow out, her top knot will look more full. Plus, you'll get that "poof" in the front. That little poof above the eyes makes a big difference in the "look". |
I would grow out the bangs if you want a top knot, otherwise the top knot will always be thin, plus the top knot keeps their Hair out of their eyes |
1 Attachment(s) My boy looks the same, this a picture from last month, the blonde hair makes it look thinner. Also, my cotton coat boy has thicker hair than his silky coat so when I compare top knots the cotton coat has fuller top knot than silky coats. |

She's so pretty! I agree with the others. It means her adult coat might be silky. Her puppy coat should be thick compared to the one on her head. Bentley has the same white spot, it is thinner and silkier :animal36 |

The hair above her eyes must grow longer to become part of the top knot. Ever see a yorkie in a too tight knot that has really slanted eyes? That's because the hair is pulled up from right above the eyes. Lucy's facial hair is long and I make the knot using all the hair that might fall into her eyes. It's not terribly thick hair on the face or head. Let it grow!! |

Laddy has a silky coat and his topnot is not even half as thick as Kyra's. Kyra has what I think :confused: is a modified coat. I thought as a puppy she was cotton because her hair is so think and matted really bad but as she has gotten older it is still thick but rarely ever tangles. |
Update on Miley's top knot 1 Attachment(s) I think it's getting better. It looks a lot more full although I wish I were more clear with the groomer about her bangs. She had a bath today and looks so cute although she wants nothing to do with me since her bath haha |
Yes, that topknot looks pretty thick. There's a lot of hair that's still not long enough to be in it yet. Good luck! Miley's a doll! |

1 Attachment(s) Bailee's hair was thin when he was younger. Then, one day he had hair. His groomer did not cut his top knot or facial hair. He is now 3 1/2 and has a nice top knot which has been pretty long since he was about a year and a half. :) |
