I am interested in getting a playmate that is princes size and i might have found it. The only thing is that it would have to be shipped and i am not sure, so i wanted oponions (sp) on people that have shipped, and had puppies shipped to them. The price of the puppy is $185.00 and shipping is $200.00, the puppy is 11 weeks old and lives in London! Here is here pic to by the way. Also i have already emailed the owner and she explained that she got it for her 2 year old, :omg: and she has very bad allergies! so please let me know what you think!

Beautiful puppy but hard to believe it is only 185. That's usually the price the scammers start with. Be very careful especially since it is out of the country. How did you find it? Hope it wasn't puppyfind.

Seems very inexpensive for a puppy and the airfare is also. As long as you feel the lady is legitimate it sounds like a good deal. Although that is a long flight for a tiny puppy. Let us know what you decide. Good luck

Wait, a Yorkie puppy is less then $200? Something doesnt sound right. I paid $500 for my furbaby without papers and I consider that VERY cheap. Have you heard of pet scams? Person pays for a puppy to be shipped but then it never arrives. http://petcaretips.net/pet-classified-ad-scam.html

Ive also heard of people being sent SICK puppies.

Plus, the main reason why I dont like puppies being shipped is because you dont get to see where it lives, see the parents or inspect the puppy before purchase. IMO, thats VERRRY important. I dont care if it was the best breeder in the word. You can eliminate all the problems I dicussed above by seeing the puppy in person.

Please, when you do find a puppy that you are interested, go visit the breeders home, see where it is raised, inspect the puppy and the parents. It will save you alot of heart break in the end.

Hi.........I seem to remember ( its been a while ) when I was looking into importing from London ( its more complicated than just shipping..........you have customs, etc...... Anyway, I tought/think importing into the US from London the dog has to stay in quarintine for a good while at your expense and I would never put a dog through that..........I don't know, but just wanted you to make SURE of ALL procedures for importing from there to here. Wow, he IS cute. That sure would be a lonnnnng plane ride, wouldn't it? I would be terrified to even buy a puppy in the USA that would have to be shipped. I guess I am just not very trusting. They give you a picture of a cutie, and then BAM when it arrives :eek: Then what are you going to do? Ship it back? I dont know........

He is a cute, but please try to find a puppy here in the states, perferably someplace you can drive to.

I love diego so muchthat my only concern for her is to have a good home.She is cute , lovely, adorable, and obey command.
She is AKC REGISTERED and has just been checked by a vet doctor.She has received all her vaccination and shot dewormig.She is presently 3.2lb, her mom was 6lb and dad was 6.5 lb at maturity. adoption fee cost $185 and shipping cost $200

This is a popular scam...if it was not, believe me dozens of local people would pay $185 for a puppy...quite frankly I would not go to the trouble to ship for $185. Vet fees for exporting would eat any profit up. A friend was in GB and it cost over $200 just for export documents...and that was a long time ago.

The puppy is very cute! But, I wouldn't do it! It is a very LONG plane ride for such a little puppy. He could have health problems that you don't know about. You could send the money and have the puppy never show up. I would much rather meet my puppy in person and meet the breeder in person. I would never take a chance on having a puppy shipped. There are also tons of internet ads from people in Kenya and all over Africa advertising free or very cheap yorkies. It is a SCAM! The puppy usually never even existed because people will give out their info thinking they found a great deal, and the puppy never even arrives!

Not to sound rude, but her email to you was riddled with misspellings and poor grammar therefore I highly doubt she is a doctor. Yes you can be educated and misspell a word or two but come-on... :-) Not to mention she didn't know her daughter has allergies,... I know the price sounds nice but you will probably pay for it in the end by getting a sick puppy or no puppy at all. Keep looking!!

Personally I would not look for a puppy in an internet ad like that. Good for you that you reported her! TONS of scams! I would never take a chance having a puppy shipped either. Yorkie don't come cheap, as I know as I am still looking myself. Look through your local paper or a legitmate website like some of the people on YT are breeders. And they are geninue people who care about their yorkies and what homes they go to. Maybe you can travel if you have to. Most breeders are nice enough to work something out with you money wise. Most won't lower their prices, but have payment plans.

Scam, Scam, Scam! And I am glad the person is now on our forum so we all will know better if we were to be encountered with them.

This is a scam- no doubt. You need to run as fast as you can from this one.
There is no way you can ship a dog from London for $200.00. The airplane costs are more then that and then all the health certificate costs and shots needed to enter the US. Airlines do not ship under 1 1/2 pounds unattended.

There are a lot of bells and whistles for dogs to go through to be imported/exported from Great Britain. There is no way she is a honnest posting.

If you read the email very closely, you will realize a DOCTOR did not write the message. Poor grammar - poor punctuation! It doesn't sounds good to me and I'm no expert.

I\'m laughing because she spelled gynecology incorrectly she is supposedly a Gynecologist. LOL. If it was legitimate, I would assume the puppy is 185 pounds and 200 pounds to ship.
