Saddest Story Ever... |
Very sad... But why would you stay at a hotel where dogs aren't allowed and then leave them in the car? |

Tragic, all the way around. So much was preventable...both about the dogs and about the owner.:( |
Tragic. She was probably so ill she wasn't thinking straight. Such a sad story for all involved :( Usually my reaction would be so strong against this woman for checking into a hotel where dogs aren't allow, but maybe she was too ill to keep driving around looking for one that did, and too ill to think about sneaking her dogs in anyway. Today, I took my still sick pup ZoE to our regular vet (after an ER trip late Monday night) and I fainted in the exam room while I was holding ZoE on a high exam table. Thankfully, the vet & tech saw me and the vet grabbed ZoE as the tech slipped a chair under me as I went down. I was so embarrassed, and felt horrible that there I am supposed to be caring for Zo and wasn't able to. All I kept thinking was what if I'd fainted while no one else was in the room and she'd stepped off that slippery stainless steel high exam table. |
That poor, poor woman and her little dogs. Wonder why she drove to a hotel and not a cafe or gas station and asked them to call 911 for EMT's? Maybe she was so sick she just wasn't thinking well enough. Such a sad story and everyone seemed to drop the ball. |

Thanks. Just my two-cents. And at least I got to go through my first post. Thanks again. Great forum. Bravo Yorkies! |
Why are her family suing CBS Baltimore? Who are they and how could they be responsible for the woman's death? Apologies if I've got it wrong....I live in the UK so not familiar with a few American societies/abbreviations etc  Perhaps the guilt over her dogs hastened her end if she was already ill? I lost my whippet in a tragic accident in 2008 and even now I still blame myself :( How are you now Zoe? Had you had anything to eat? I've often felt a bit wobbly when I've been too busy to eat! Never fainted though *touch wood* |

But there are always two sides to each story. Very sad for all involved. |
Wow they should have sent her to the emergency room. That is such a sad case |
that is so sad |

I agree with you that the guilt and anguish over the death of her dog probably hastened her death. :( I am very sorry for your loss of your whippet in tragic circumstances. |
