Libido and Oral Sex are Now Issues Yes, you read correctly and I do not know what to do. From infancy to the day I spayed and groomed Julie, Sabu really did not pay much attention to Julie other than playing every so often. You really did not see them play that much together until Julie was spayed and well groomed really well causing an awakening of the libido from Sabu. He has now begun to hump her on a daily basis. Also, they have begun to play more with each other. During their playtime together, Sabu will herd her to the correct position and beginning to hump. :eek: During playtime, Subu likes Julie to be on her back, then he begins to lick her pee pee. Enough of this!!! Is there anything I can do to decrease Sabu's zelous labido? :eek::eek: Help! Starlette |

Lol, yes the title did get my attention. Has Sabu been neutered? How old is he? All I can say is you need to correct him or distract him when he starts acting naughty. |
Both of them have been fixed. This September, Sabu will be 7 years old. |
Oh my, I do not have any advice. I think someone with some dog training knowledge needs to advise. I gotta add the title certainly made me read your post. |

I would suggest maybe clapping your hands and saying "NO!" when he goes to lick or mount. Then when he does give him a treat for listening. |

Well obviously you are bothered enough to actually do a thread, I'm sorry...I can definitely imagine how embarrassing and stressful it is if they do this in front of people not to mention that I wouldn't be too thrilled to see it myself on a regular basis....at this point, for lack of better info. I would separate them unless you are right there, start from scratch and monitor nonstop for a couple weeks always quick to STOP the behavior...I would consider the No Bark Spray or water spray bottle and firm NO's....here is an article from the SPCA it seems to include both fixed and unfixed dogs. As a trainer I would treat it as any other undesirable behavior. (No pun intended.. well hum) Anyway, give a verbal cue word like, No, Stop it, or Enough of that ! Don't yell just use your firm voice, you can tap your foot, clap or squirt with water. What ever works when you correct barking, digging or other No Nos, and so should work with this too. This is one reason we don't allow puppies to hump toys, once it is a habit it is harder too beak the cycle. Don't look at it as sex play, just as rude behavior, and correct it now. |

Wow the title. I did not know where this was going. Galen humps Willow the cat. :rolleyes: Now willow was already fixed and Galen just got snipped last week. When he starts I usually say no. Leave her alone. He will stop. But she lets him do it too. I am hopping his little snibits will help with that. . . . I hope :D |
