This is a wonderfully positive thread :) I love it, Villette! You all are right, this site has taught sooo many people about puppymills, breeding, potty training, foods, etc. On top of that, we have all created a bond with each other because of our yorkies and we're there for each other through all of our experiences with our furbabies! I just want to say thanks to admin for Yorkietalk.com and I want to thank all of the members for sharing your opinions and experiences...We are lucky to have such a great forum to come to! :)

AWESOME thread, Villette. I would also like to add to what you had said. Many times, things get heated, claws come out, etc. It is so frustrating to read when someone has purposedly did something (breeding tinies for example) because we all want what is best for our little furbabies. Now, they may have success in their business but for the norm, it may not happen that way. Didn't we have a member here recently that bred theirs and thought from what they've read that everything was going to be okay and it turned for the worse? It's just heartbreaking to read and thus brings out lots of mixed emotions, some good but for most of us, bad.

Thanks :D - I just wanted to stress it one more time :)

The site as a whole is a wonderful site and it's such a pain to see people bash things over a thread or 2....While things can get debated over and over - (I haven't seen that too much lately) sometimes those very debates are teaching someone new something they didn't know before so we shouldn't write them off as personality conflicts - many great points are made in debates and many silly points are made too :p it's up to the reader what they want to hear and remember.

We have alot of very caring people here every day answering questions - like on Breeding - and just like YOU Kimberly :) - many times I see someone write a very detailed helpful reply to someone - all from the heart... and all because they Want the best for ALL The yorkies here.

I left one of those "other" sites....no one wanted to be bothered answering a question , only jumping in to make a newbie feel like a jerk if their opinion differed from someone elses.
Yorkie Talk is wonderful, just wonderful....there is a wealth of information to be found here because all of you members and breeders are so knowledgeable and eager to help.
I am so glad to have found this site ! Thanks all for sharing and caring.HAPPY NEW YEAR !

Considering there are thousands of people on YT, we have very few arguments. I'm sorry if I get a bit heated when I feel people are trying to take advantage of us. Like when people post things that seem to be false. Owning and breeding Yorkies is one of the best things and hardest things I have ever done. I love my dogs and I love the breed. I generally like people, but I don't like to be had!! I'm sorry if anyone gets offended by some of my posts I truely don't mean to be mean.
I love this site and the people on it, You are all very dear to me.

Thanks for prompting this conversation, Villette. I am a new puppy owner and would never have had found so much helpful information so quickly without YT! I sift through the negative and more often than not...encounter kind, friendly, quick to help, more-knowledgeable-than-I people. YT is awesome!! :)
