She is gorgeous. Beautiful, just beautiful. You can tell she wasnt born blonde by the dark hair that is still showing through. The ones who are born blonde/golden dont have the dark hair showing underneath at all.

Thanks, I love her & her little sister to death! Dolly keeps her barrette in all day & her hair stays tidy all day. The last couple years she's gotten the little bit of tear stain, but before that the hair around her eyes was almost white.

Agree, it just means they aren't breed standard for show, look at how stunning Wanda's chocolate boy is. doesn't make them any less smart of loving

She doesn't have to go on shows to be appreciated, you post photos on here and we will gladly applaud her beauty and it's cheaper too

Ok so I'm new to this & not sure I'm even doing this correct but I saw this golden yorkie on Google & followed the link here....I am curious who she or he belongs to & if they have a clue where I can find one that is related.....i am in LOVE with it! Lol. Yhanks.

Thank you! She turns 10 this month & I think she's as pretty as ever. She hasn't slowed down, either. At 3.4 lbs. she bosses around every dog she knows & always keeps tabs on my whereabouts. She seems to understand everything.
Blond might not be breed standard but I can't go anywhere without lots of strangers taking her picture.

I know cameras can play tricks with colors.... is that more of a platinum...?

It's a little grayish at the roots but definitely not gray overall. Kind of a bleach blond look I'd say. Pretty much the color as I see it on my screen.
BTW, she wasn't posing at all for the second pic. I had a visitor who snapped that one & she hadn't been prepped at all for the shot. The first one was taken at the babysitters so her hair isn't combed very well. I've never owned a camera, so all my photos of them are from others. (Now my sis lives w/me & she has a camera so I no longer have excuses for so few photos.)
