Do You Want to Guess Bentley's Adult Weight? ;) We just got back from the vet for his second round of vaccines!! He's a very healthy boy YAY!! And he didnt cry this time :rolleyes: So at 12 Weeks he's 3 lbs !! How much did your baby weigh at 12 weeks and how much when adult? I know there's not a method that's 100% accurate but just to have an idea how big my baby is going to be! Thanks!! :) |
You know, I really don't remember what Lucy weighed at 3 months! Maybe 2-something? She stopped at 6.3 lbs. She gained several more ounces between the time she was spayed (7 months) and now. I remember she did most of her noticeable growing between 6 months and 1 year. But I've heard that some yorkies continue to grow after a year old too. What were his parents' weights? That may be a better guide. Also, if your breeder has dedicated lines, then he/she could ball park it for you. Best wishes, Tracey |

At 12 weeks Jasper weighes 1 lb 5 oz. He will be 5 months old on Tuesday. I know hes not an adult, but he has slowed down on how fast he was putting on weight like he was at first. Plus, he has also not been eating large portions like he was. He weighs 3 lbs 2 oz as of 5/31. His body has gotten long and his legs are long, too. But when I check his ribs, everything feels as it should. |

the rule of thumb is to double the weight at 12 weeks. I am not so sure if I remember Remy's weight.. but her parents were 5 lbs. and she charted to be under 4 lbs and now at 3 years she is a little over 5 lbs. My guess he will be between 5 /12 to 7 lbs.... that is just a guess and it is a big range. |

I remember, at least I think I remember what Princess Sophie weighed at 12 weeks. LOL She weighed 2 lbs. 15 oz. The vet just said "3 lbs" to make me feel better! LOL At 5 months she weighed in at 3 lbs. 13 oz. I'm really looking forward to seeing what she weighes at her next appointment at which she will be just about 6.5 months old and getting spayed. So glad I wrote all this stuff down on a calendar. Just so you know, the Rabies shot stings going in (my vet let me know) because Sophie screamed. I was so glad they didn't let me hold her for that one. I might have dropped her. Just be aware. |
Max weighed 3.2 pounds at 13 weeks. Full size, he is 9 pounds. I think he has a pound of hair, lol. His full brother, Teddy, was almost 6 pounds at 8 months of age, and also grew to 9 pounds. My boys had late growth spurts at 11 months. |

Pixie's Dad was 4 lbs and Mom was 5lbs. Pixie weighed about 2.25 at 12 weeks and now she is 7lbs at almost 4 yrs. Her ideal weight is 6.5 and we are working on that:) |

Hey I tried picking him up and he cried... Is it normal to be sore after the vaccines (2nd round)? He's taking a nap right now... I couldnt even move him to his bed :-/ |

Riley was 1.5lbs at 12weeks, he is nearly eight months and weighs about 3.5lb. He is only a tiny boy, I didn't think he would be this small. But I love him any size he is :) x |
