yah, I hope she can get better soon. I hate when she feels this way. Also this weekend we are going to the place we got Kudos so maybe we can see them then.

Well that would be good. See- it will all work out how it is suppose to. Don’t stress yourself out looking at breeders online 24/7. I mean if you have fun doing it than by all means.. but I’m just saying. Until you know the price range, how your Mom feels about this, I think it would be best you put it on hold till you can talk to your Mom.. Then when you get it all figured out we can help you find an amazing breeder!! ;)

It is much easier looking for something you want, rather than blindly looking

:thumbup: you really do need to talk with your mom and find out how much she is willing to spend because biewers cost more then a standard Yorkie.

In my opinion that's enough to turn away. She obviously doesn't care about the well being of the pups. She just wants the check.

Does this breeder have a $500 purebred puppy? I doubt it. And I've spoken to this breeder when I was looking to add to my family and I'm still looking.

I think you are being way too desperate here. Slow down. There are good breeders in California and Arizona. Go to the BBCA website. Go to the Biewer forum. Educate yourself.

But slow down and see all the red flags.

And if that is all the money you have to spend, think rescue, or a dog needing rehoming, or just save up until you can truly afford one.

I babysit, about 10.00 a day, right now I have been helping an elder lady move out for 10.00 an hour, I put notes in the doors of the apartments(the apartments monthly news thing) 20.00 for 1 day. I am also going to start dog walking!! :) Oh and chores around the house.;):):p

Make sure you have time off too this summer for fun stuff! Don't over work yourself. Balance working and fun- that's the best way to enjoy doing both. :)

And....The right pup for the right price will come along at the right moment. Keep saving, but use some of that money ( a little) for fun too!

Just remember puppy shots and wellness visits cost a lot of money and sometime accidents happen where you have to get emergency care and that can be very expensive too. Then there is monthly heartworm medicine, flea and tick medicine, yearly vet check up with blood work and stool sample, spaying or neutering and then all the extra stuff.

I honestly didn't realize how much it all cost until I got Callie and I grew up with dogs. I didn't know about brokers and the extend of puppy mills when I got Callie until I found this website and learned about byb, bad breeders, and puppy mills and then I dug Callie's papers out and researched her breeder and it was a puppy mill! She was pooing blood when she was a puppy and they also did xrays at that time and found she had swallowed a small piece of metal and sense we had just got her and had been watching her her like a hawk we knew she had it when we got her and she had to come back and get more xrays to see if it was moving and it was thank good. She has Luxating Patella and had to have surgery on one knee for over $3,000 and is going to have to get the other knee done. Stuff is crazy expensive anymore.
