She is adorable. I would definitely get her. But that's just me. My husband ultimately leaves these things up to me. I wouldn't think twice about it. I bet the two would get along really well. I say go for it. |
Tinkerbell is so cute. It will be awesome if you decide to get her. I wish I was closer. :) |
Tinkerbell has the coarse coat that an off-color Yorkie can have. Some times I have heard breeders use them to firm up colors in their lines. Especially, if they are red-legged. Now, the up side of this is that she will be REALLY low maintainence. Her coat will be a zip to care for. The down side is if her skin is affected as in the off-colors. The skin can be like that of a Blue Born and can be rough. IF, the ears have a coat on them, they will not require sunscreen as the ones with "bald" ears. It really sounds as if she has no health problems and would be a great pet for someone. What Yorkie does not come with issues? They are the most inquisitive, ornery babies alive and that is their draw as far as I am cocerned. I know you and hubby will work this out and if you decide you cannot take another Yorkie, find another deserving and loving person on YT.. Do not feel bad if you decide you cannot take her. Sometimes, things just will not work and another solution is the answer. |
Thanks guys for telling me what you think. I can't believe how much different she looks than Haylee. Haylee's hair is soft and silky and growing every day. In the picture Tinkerbell looks so much bigger than Haylee but I have not seen her in person. I have seen the Mom and Dad to Haylee and Tinkerbell and they both have the long silky coat. I have left a message with more questions about Tinkerbell, but have not heard anything back yet. So Tinkerbells hair will always be like this? Not that I really care I am just partial to the hair like Haylee has. Or at least right now I am. Haylee's puppy coat is almost gone and her new coat does not seem to tangle at all! I am going to attempt this weekend to put her hair up in a bow for the first time. After that I may wish that her hair was short too. Graff also has the silky hair but we keep him cut short most of the time because my hubby likes it better that way. I look forward to hearing more responses about what people think of Tinkerbell. |
How old is Tinkerbell? Because their coat changes so much. She might get the same coat as her sister. She sure is cute! :D |

They are both out of the same litter and going on 6 months old. I am still trying to decide on what to do. I would love to go see her and need to take Haylee to see Darla but I am not sure I can go see her and not bring her home with me. |

LOL!!! Thats the same thing I thought when I posted the pictures for her. She's Super Cute!!!   |
Awww she is super adorable!! I hope you're able to take her. :p |
She is too cute. The thing I love about the Yorkies is that they are so similar, but can be so subtly different. It might be nice to have 2 different types of coats, their own unique identifier. I know that my Laila has a really soft, cottony coat - so if/WHEN I get her a play pal in the future I would look for a coat that is less maintenance. Tinkerbell looks so lovely and happy, just a little bundle of joy! I'm sure she would LOVE to spend her life with a loving family like yours and her little sister. It would also be really cool if you had a relative that lived near by who was looking to adopt - then you would at least be able to see Tink and let her play w/ Haylee. Just a thought. Good luck with your decision, I know it must be tough! Tink and Haylee are just too adorable! |
