I started with stainless bowls but ended up with these ceramic bowls in a stand. Huey is 7.5 lbs, so not super small nor super big, and they are just perfect. These are not the exact bowls I have, mine are much cuter, but they are this shape and the stand is the same. Glass and ceramic has worked well for us. The metal and plastic type bowls tend to stain and collect the scent of things. Glass and ceramic wash much better and as long as you don\'t break them they stay in good condition much longer, too. Gracie has always preferred flat dishes for her food. I just used a small plate when she was a puppy. Had to hand feed her for quite a while since she was one of those anorexic types when she was a baby. |
I use a small non slip cat bowl for the new pup and a small dog one for our 7 month old. The pup happily goes between both no problem. |
