I'm happy to hear she is doing better. Very scary! Our first vet gave Max all of his vaccinations including rabies in one day when he was 13 weeks old. He was fine, but I would never do it again. For puppies, you can wait until 5 -6 months for rabies. We also separate all vaccinations now by 3 - 4 weeks. |

Yes we've been bringing our boxer to this vet for years & I always liked him because he's so knowledgable when it comes to boxers. My vet has two doctors, this guy & a woman. Bella seen the woman doctor before and I'm making my next appt w/the woman again. This vet clinic has good reviews but I hate that it doesn't do emergency service. I'm looking at other area vets too and I'm def not letting Bella see him again if we stay here. |

I'm hoping and praying that baby Bella will be back to her normal self in the morning. |

I would also not bother with the pain med. Was the vaccination given in her leg? That was another thing our first vet did that I didn't like. I think it is better to give them between the shoulder blades. |

Sorry, one more post . . . The reason I think the pain med is bad is that if a dog has a severe reaction to a vaccination -- anaphylactic shock being the worst, I would think a pain med that makes your dog sleepy would complicate things. |
