You should be ashamed of yourselves! I believe I've read that same great book and it has some pretty specific things to say about judging and gossiping, which is all anyone seems to do on this site. I see the OP has been a member for years and you automatically assume that she's a mustache twirling villain after she willingly and proudly gave you the site of a breeder she thought was good (If she'd known you wouldn't approve, she wouldn't have done it.) She never even hinted at wanting to breed the pup, you just jumped to conclusions to have something else to say "How horrible!" at. Think about it for a second before you hasten to reply. Look again. The site says she'd make a good breeder. Not that her buyer was intending to breed.

I don't expect any of you to have a change of heart, but I couldn't sit here and watch you just go on and on without saying something.

I think that the jury is out on the OP's motives--whether or not she is in cahoots with the breeder to hawk overpriced sickly dogs. But it is indisputable that the breeder is dishonest and disreputable, and is indeed hawking overpriced, sickly dogs. These facts are based on both the past history of this breeder, as well as good detective work by yorkietalk members. If the OP is sincerely intent on buying one of these overpriced, sickly dogs, she is going into it forewarned, and we will be here to offer advice and moral support, as well as prayers that things aren't going so horribly as we fear they may.

When I took a look at all of the photos of those tiny puppies with sad eyes, some of them small enough to fit in coffee mugs, and read their descriptions, especially the one that is advertised as being a candidate for the smallest dog in the world, all I could feel is sad and depressed.

This is a little off topic, but could someone explain why the puppies have two prices depending on whether they will be used as pets or breeding stock?

With reputable breeders the reason why you pay more for A breeding dog is because you are buying in their lines and their hard work establishing those lines. With this breeder it is just most likely to get more money

I feel sick about this. OP obviously doesn't care what anyone thinks, or at least she isn't saying so. At the very least I hope tons of people have read these pages and will learn something, OP hasn't!!

I figured it must be something like that. I'm sure that the breeder has absolutely no idea about how well these puppies will perform as breeding stock and just wants to charge an extra $500 to fill out the AKC form...

I said I was done with this thread and I am but had to at least defend myself because in a few days this thread will have convicted me of murder, pedophilia and who knows what else the way you all keep growing and growing these stories and make more and more assumptions about everyone.

Whatever dog I get will not be bred. Period. I don't need the money nor do I want to deal with whatever headaches come from a pregnant dog. I've never had a pregnant dog, I've never bred a dog, I've only ever owned (in my adult life) one other dog.

Honestly, I think 90% of you are crazy. I don't anticipate coming back here ever. You're unkind and down right mean. There are tactful ways of warning people and expressing concerns but most of you have no clue what tact is or how to use it.

I can't wait to see what assumptions about me are drawn based on this post. This is now comedic.

Did you even read the posts? She was very gracious and open to opinions until people started being rude and hateful. Then they did the only sensible thing and left the thread because there's no talking to you people. It's like beating your head against a rock. If people had been kinder maybe she would have changed her mind about buying from this breeder (or maybe they already have. Why would they tell us?) You're not going to consider this (lets see how many times the word "greeder" can be used!), but maybe you guys could have even changed the breeders mind about breeding too tiny dogs. Instead you attacked them both and drove them off.
