I am going to explode! 1 Attachment(s) I've been waiting for Bentley for about 3 months (Since mom was pregnant with him) ... I was ok with waiting at first, but now that the day is getting closer, I just don't know what to do with myself! Seriously I think I am going to explode with anticipation... I thought about going shopping for him but maybe seeing all that stuff in my house would make me even more anxious! Lol What did you guys do while you were waiting for your precious little one? The breeder just sent me this picture today, he's on the left, he's smaller than his sister but chubbier! or maybe he's just fluffier!? :yelrotflm. I guess you have to click on the pic ... This is the time you make sure you have completely puppy proofed your home. My owners are reading all the information I have sent them in their puppy paks. They are reading the two books I recommended for fthem to get, and they are writing down all the questions they can possibly think of to ask, when they pick baby up. My new parents are buying baby clothes, beds, blankets, food bowls, and recommended toys. They are making sure they have found a vet that is perfect for taking care of their new baby, specializing in small dogs and even specializing in Yorkies! With summer coming on, they are ordering tiny little life vests so that baby can learn to swim and so those with pools and ponds in the back yard, never let their babies out without their vest on! Your baby is adorable and this is the most exciting time in the world for you!!! Enjoy the excitment and the feelings of anticipation! It only gets better from here! How long before you get your baby? |

I know how you feel. I will pick up my Zoey on June 18. I have been spending my time reading up on Yorkies , shopping for those last items and talking to my kids on how to treat and not to treat Zoey. |
I remember those last days of waiting and being so very anxious. I think I did more shopping for the new baby than any other time. I mean the DH even got into it and we made a couple trips just to shop for our Princess Sophie. LOL I also spent a lot of time going over the "Libraries" at the top of the main pages, making sure I knew exactly what I was going to want to do and how I would handle certain situations. Like the first night and what dog food and tons of other things. Mostly I just spent time wishing time would pass more quickly. LOL I'm so happy for you to be bringing your new baby home. He is just adorable and I'm sure will have you wrapped around his finger in no time at all. Blessings!! |

So cute! I would be as crazy anxious as you are too, and hardly able to sleep. The little sister next to him looks exactly like my Tiki did when I got her.... and that was 5 years ago. Makes me want another one, but 4 is enough for now. |
Oh my gosh! I understand! Waiting for a new puppy is so exciting!! Like waiting for a baby!! When I was pregnant I spent all my time working/playing/decorating the nursery!! While waiting for Charlie, I spent all my time in pet stores!! Haha I wish we all lived close enough together we could have puppy showers for everyone getting a new puppy!! Wouldn't that be fun!!??? Haha What is it about getting a puppy that just makes us happy??!!! :-) So my advice to you while you wait for your baby is to shop for cute puppy things!! :-) and read read read about Yorkies. |

Bentley is soooo cute! His little face is adorable! I feel your pain. I've been waiting for my little Prima since December :(...even before her mommy was bred. So I definitely understand how difficult it is. I've been spending my time preparing the house for her & buying stuff. Too much stuff, of course. Prima comes home on June 1st. Almost there! Congratulations on your new little baby! I can't wait to see pictures of him as he grows up ;) |

I take him home on the day before my birthday :). It's my bday present to myself lol :rolleyes: and I have the week off so I can be with him! Yay |

8 days left :( .... Well ... It's better than 3 months right? ... I think faith brought him to me ... My friend was the one getting him (I was going to have him a couple of days a week, I was excited as well) he put down the deposit for first pick of the litter, after they were born he decides not to get him because of $$ issues. So in order to get the deposit back we had to go in person and tell the breeder he can't get the puppy, I was heartbroken :( And so we went, and I saw Bentley, and fell in love immediately ... And I told him "this is my puppy" .... He is sooo cute, just wanted to cuddle and fell asleep on my lap... The breeder said she could tell he's going to be a momma's boy :love: It's funny because if it wasnt for him getting first pick of the litter, then I would have never met my baby!! And also Bentley :animal37got really lucky, because my friend would have never spoil Bentley like I am about to!:yelrotflm I am going shopping for Bentley today! So excited! :) |
Oh Mylanta.......Bentley is so cute! Congratulations!! These next 8 days will fly by before you know it, and in the meantime, you can have fun shopping, organizing and reorganizing all of his goodies. I remember when I was waiting for Cooper to come home, I shopped like a maniac on Amazon, and the UPS and Fed Ex delivery guys were at my house at least three times a week. Enjoy your new little bundle of joy! |
