YT 2000 Club Member | Handlebar Bike Basket wanted.... I would love to start biking again.....need to get back in shape! I have been looking for a handle bars basket for my girls to ride in. In researching them, it seems they look great but they are not stable or sturdy or able to hold the amount of weight without tipping. Does anyone know of a good, sturdy and stable basket? A link would be awesome! I love the Snoozer brand, but the reviews are not the greatest.....

| I have the large metal one so I can take two girls at a time, but I have the beach cruiser. I don't think bikes that have gears would work for this basket, but a smaller one would. I made a nice pad for the bottom and straps with hooks at each end to keep them tethered in.

| Handlebar baskets are for lighter loads. So about one regular sized yorkie or two tinies. You don't want too much weight up front, it will throw off your steering, and def make your bike unstable when you use the kick stand. I can get baskets that aren't dog specific too. Just let me know. Depending on your bike and the size of your pups I can give you a recommendation. |
