| Re-Homing My Precious Yorkie My little Lacey (5 yrs.) needs to be rehomed ... she is in Chicago and is a bit nervous and has territorial issues. I have worked with 2 trainers and the vet and has been medicated to no avail. I believe she needs a residential neighborhood in a house instead of apartment living (at least that's my point of view) ... She does well with my grandkids with my supervision (9, 7, 5) but has bitten a girl in our lobby out of fear I believe .. there are lots of dogs and activity and she does not do well with that. NO rehoming fee ... everything comes with .. just want her to have a good home in a residential neighborhood ... she does very well in a doggy day care environment also. | I'm sorry you had to make this difficult decision, but I commend you for wanting to do what you think is best for your little girl. Is she spayed?

| Awwww I am sorry to hear Lacey needs an attitude adjustment. LOL!!! I have one in my house that is just like that Miss Sophie. She is chick in charge smallest Yorkie I have and knows she is wrong but does it anyway. It is her way of being protective over me. We just have to pick her up and remove her from being in that protective mode and she is her loving cute self again. If she is outside with other dogs playing she is running around having a good old time. But put me in the mix and the jealously comes out. No animal trainer in the world is going to make a jealous female change her ways she loves you and is protecting you. You just have to learn how to change the situations and change putting her in direct contact with other dogs when you know she is going to get mad and act out. The tinier Yorkie seem to have this problem more than the average size one too I noticed. Good luck with finding your baby a loving home that is the right environment for your little jealous body guard. |

| I'm so sorry, I know it wasn't an easy decision and giving her up is going to hurt. I hope she finds the ideal home.

| Have you found placement yet for little Lacey? My heart goes out to you, I know how terribly difficult this decision must have been for you. I wish there was more I could do to help you, and I wish you the best.
