Some breeders breed for certain popular characteristics but do not bother with the personality traits. You really want to check out your breeder and make sure they have been producing pups with great temperaments. Have you considered a Maltese? They are fun dogs that love to snuggle. |

So my Molly was at least eating her wet canned food. But this morning she didn't want to eat that. I'm at wits end with this teething thing. I'm going to make a vet appt. for her today. I think she is just being a stinker but it worries me anyway. I even got her some BB grain free puppy food in the can and she was loving it up till this morning. I hope she eats better for my neighbor that takes her out during the day. I will have her keep a close eye on her until I can get her into the vet later on today. I even used a roliing pin on her dry food making it smaller and she turned her nose up to that too. |
My Eva Noel was 6 months yesterday, and after reading your thread I decided to get her measurements. I measured her front legs from the top of her shoulders to the floor and they are about 7.5", then I measured her back (from the base of her neck to her tail) and she is about 8", and then I checked her weight and she is about 4 lbs. I was just curious because I'm new to Yorkies and was trying to wrap my head around your adorable little grad students weight and height. Eva is solid, but if I press her sides I can feel her ribs and if she weighed less than 3 lbs, I believe she would look under nourished and frail. I don't know if any of that helps, but just thought I would share. :) |
