![]() A red flag to me on her website would be the face she doesn't have pedigree, the sires and dams. Looks like a pet store rather than a dog breeder, looks like she may be a newby website is plain.

![]() Eyebrow clipper is a great idea. I've always used mustache groomers, but I bet eyebrow clippers are even safer. Thanks for the tip. We never quit learning ![]()

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | ![]() Yeah, I tried the mustache groomer, but I wasn't able to get the hair around the ear without hurting him. With this, you don't have to use a scissors around the ear and there's no chance of nicks. It's also very quiet.

However, like Lynzy said, don't worry with that now. Just enjoy your pup!

![]() For the ears, Jasper took the longest out of the litter for them to stand up. One ear went up for a month or so, then the other came up. And this was when he was about 4 months, they both sat up. I was worried for a while, cause his litter, they all had ears up. apart from the girl. His daddy actually had a perament one ear up, and one ear down. He's the skinniest out of the litter, and smallest. I think 1lb and a 1/2, or under. the majority were 2lb. He is started to fill out more now. under 7lbs if he is not sick. He has a very long body, when he stretches. but can curl up so small when he wants. I wouldn't worry ![]()

![]() It does sound like your pup may have a bit of a calcium deficency since his ears seem to go down after he has been up and about during the day. Adding a little cottage cheese or plain yogurt to his food or as a treat daily may help. If a Yorkie has ancestors with ears that did not stay up he may have inherited the same issue. Helping him along by trimming the ear tips, as stated, may be helpful. I have read about tapping the ears and some people have had success doing that. A lot does depend on genetics though. Getting your info about Yorkies from successful professional breeders is usually much more helpful than watching animal planet. The Yorkshire Terrier Club of America would be your best source of Yorkie information. Of course the library here on YT is also very informative. YT has some very informed reputable breeders as well.
