I'm happy to hear she is waking up and the surgery went well. Praying she warms her little body up. I think the anesthesia causes the body to get cold, too (with humans also - after my surgeries, I remember always being so cold).

Poor girl was shaking really bad when I picked her up :(

We got home and she walked around in circles and acted mad at me - wouldn't let me touch her. That lasted about 10 minutes lol

Since then, she has eaten some soft food, some kibble soaked in broth, had a LITTLE bit of water and has peed and pooped - yay!

She just came thru surgery and I think she looks super cute sitting in her crate - you would never know :)

And in that 2nd pic - you can see how dry and frizzy her hair is along her back - she is getting a hot oil treatment this week :D

Golly, just now seeing this and so glad to know your sweet girl is safe home and all is successfully done and behind you. She looks a little rocky and cute as a bug sitting there trying to deal with all that's happened to her and the fuzzy way she probably still feels but she knows she's home and with her mommie again so it's all going to be good. Sooooo glad Mandie will be resting comfortably with her mom tonight. I know tonight will be far far easier for you than last night was. So glad to hear it's all over and Mandie is okay.

Aww, she looks so cute. Funny how they can get that msg across that they are mad at you. She reminds me a lot of my previous Yorkie that passed away. She's looking great. :thumbup:

When Miah had her surgery to remove the tumor & had a dental done the same day, she didn't need any special food. She walking int he door after not eating for 17 hrs and dug right in. It didn't even faze her, she acted like nothing had happened. Let hope you are as lucky.

Have fun making a B'day cake for her. What exactly do you put in a cake for a DOg ?

So glad both girls did good with their surgeries! I always put Jada's kibble in a grinder and then hot water to make a broth after her dental procedures. Glad to hear Mandie is eating and all other bodily functions are working good.

Thanks everyone! Now she is cuddled up with her daddy and sleeping :)

Dawn, I just googled recipes. I ended up going with one that basically calls for peanut butter, shredded carrots, honey, and a few other things. She loves carrots and she loves peanut butter so I figure it will be a hit lol

Yaaayyy! Go, Mandie! :D I was at work all day and have been dying to know how she did! Glad to read happy news! Hope she feels back to her old self ASAP!!

ps post a pic of the cake before it's all eaten! ;)

Heidi's home now too. They wanted to keep her over night, but no one would be there, so I brought her home. She ate & drank a bit & is resting good.

I am glad that Heidi stole some of my thread. That way I could keep up :)

How is her body temp? Has she warmed up nicely now?

I will definitely post a pic of the cake(s) ..I am doing muffins..before gone. I'm going to dress her up in her dress again and put the matching bow that Melanie made in MY hair and do a Mommy and Me pic :)

I'll TRY to lasso Shelby-Dale into a pic with us too
