| Alisha Have you tried the food additive you can get at pet stores? I have never had to use it so can't tell you if it works but might be worth a shot

| Wondering if you found a solution? Gracie does it too and it makes me nuts!!! She will even find poo in the yard from the neighbors cat and drag it around. It is really disgusting and I just can't stand it |

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | The reason pineapple works, is because it contains bromelain the same thing used in meat tenderizers. It softens the protein making it easier to digest. If any undigested protein is left in the poop the dog will smell the poop as being nutritious. That's why cat's poop is so attractive, lots of undigested protein in it. You could do two things, up the amount of pineapple and make sure your giving it to her when she's getting the protein, otherwise it won't work. The other thing you could do is find a different food with easier to digest protein. There are dogs that eat poop for other reasons, and the pineapple would have no effect upon them. Some dogs eat it out of boredom, while others want to hide the evidence. What food do you use?

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | I understand that a quality food, but it might use a harder to digest protein. Not all proteins are equal in the digestablity factors. Is this the only food you've tried, has she always ate her poop, anything different?

| Hmm I would not say always and I am starting to wonder if she is actually eating it OR somewhere she has a hidden gold mine of polo hidden that I have yet to find because we will notice her smiling with a turd in her month and when we say something she will drop it and run. Lately it seems to be more of Guinness's she brings inside after she plays in the yard
