PHOTOS of 5lb Yorkies, anyone?

This is Joey. He was 5.4 lb when he got fixed 3/14, although I think he weighs a bit more than that now.

She's 2 going on 3 and is currently 5.5 lbs. Her brother's is 3 times her size but of course, she thinks she's the alpha. LOL

Even though Eva's weight has charted that she would be around 5 lbs., she hasn't grown an inch since she was 5 months old or gained an oz. She will be 7 months old in a few days and she still weighs 4lbs and that was after a big breakfast!

The only thing growing on Eva is her coat, I trimmed her all over about two months ago but decided to let it grow out just to see if I can manage it on my own. I'm not going to take her to a groomer, I've heard too many horror stories! I figured if I could manage my heavy coated show pekes, then surely I can handle a little silky coated Yorkie!

Will see how it goes, it gets steamy in south Alabama during the summer months and I may have to go back to the puppy cut.

I really enjoyed this thread so much. I loved all of the pictures. It's funny how no 2 yorkies look exactly alike, isn't it? They may resemble each other...but not identical. Great thread.

Excellent point, Steph! I too have enjoyed seeing all these photos and found it amazing how no two are exactly alike! I hope everyone will continue to post, and share photos, I love it!
