1 Attachment(s) He just said it looks fine and that the skin looks that way because of the skin is pulled ..here is the stitch I found it in her bed. |
1 Attachment(s) She seems happy as can be but I feel bad for her |
I'm sorry but that is the worst stitching job I have ever seen. That rounded tissue sticking out is not normal. I would get her to another vet and never go back to the one that did this. |
Oh don't worry mine and his days are over I wouldnt take a fly to him,I just hope my baby will be ok..a vet 45 miles away is gonna call me if they get a cancellation today.. |
IF that really is just pulled tight skin, then I can tell you from experience - that stitching technique (although I think it is terrible by the way it looks) does work just fine and within 3 or 4 months, you won't even see or feel where the cut was. I don't feel any scar tissue on Mandie at all. |
Just want to say thanks to each and everyone of you |
Aw she is a little cutie!! Hopefully the other Vet can get you in! Poor girl, that is just horrible!! I really wish Vet's would care.. I use to work for a Vet, he was probably in his early 70's well he needed to retire and he wasn't- he would charge people things they didn't need, he treated the animals like crap, Ugh he was the worse. It became so bad I didn't want to work for someone like that so I quite. I also contacted a handful of the clients that he treated badly and recommend that seek out a different Vet. |
The only thing he seemed concerned about was that she is .little i told him that i free feed her and that she eats much as she wants.he said I should not do that. because she is under eating. and told me to stop and to feed her twice a day.... well I don't have much faith in him now so I will continue free feeding her... |
Oh my that looks bad :(. I would definately get her to a different vet. |

I always free feed - especially puppies. |
mmmmmmmmmm not sure what that shiney bit is sticking out there, not sure it should be there. Stitching is really shoddy. If you can afford a second opinion I would get one. It may be nothing to worry about and then thats great but if it is something and you did nothing you would never forgive yourself, if you know what I'm getting at. |
I was able to get chloe in at the other clinic late yesterday evening. I feel better he says the samething stitches are just tight.. now my question is why did he put them that tight.. I still would not feel comfortable using the vet that did this anymore.now only for this reason but for the lack of concern he showed for her. |

Just make sure your pup is eating the recommended amount for her age and size according to what your pet food company advises. If she feels extremely boney yet is eating as much as she should then you may want to seek the advise of a good vet. I would avoid the place that did the spay if at all possible. I would hate to think of what they would do to a sick pet that needed emergency surgery. |
