Keno is 16 lbs. Gets 1/4 cup in morning and 1/4 cup in the evening. Very active. Treats all day for rewards. Usually green beans.

Royal Canin Special 537 cal per cup. Per bag 3/4 to 1 cup for 16 lb dog. I find that to be to much for Keno I do not want him to get overweight. He is 13 inches high and his weight could be down to 15 lbs to be better for him. I find excess weight to be big problems for all dogs. His weight goes down to 15 lbs when we are in Michigan. Fenced yard and things to chase off his yard. In Florida he only gets out on his leash for his daily 3 mile walk. Hubby does slip him treats apples are his favorite.
| Sounds like Jackson! 16lbs is his ideal. But he's gotten up to 18lbs. Though it could just be the scales being off at the vets. But I had started feeding him Fromm, and had been giving him more (3/4 cup per day) and he got a bit chubby for my liking. He's never been fat at all, but to ME, his body condition just wasn't as good. He's a skinny active dude so we switched foods as the Fromm was producing softer stools, and a bit of a weight gain.
