I have a friend that tried to register her Avid chip online and the first site that came up was RFID as a national chip register. THe site says RFID registers all chips. Has anyone ever heard of RFID? I thought if you had an Avid chip you had to register under the Avid site. Surprisingly, the cost is the same at the Avid site and the RFID site - $19.95.

If she bought an AVID chip, I would use their registry, they've been around a long time and along with Home Again are one of the two best known companies. Never can tell how long this new company will be around or if they really are that reliable.

Home again will register chips from other companies too.
