Any suggestions are appreciated..Thanks! |
Hi! I'm so sorry your post got lost :( I have never had a rescue so others will be able to help more but I can say that with any new addition, the key is gradual time together and love and patience and pretty much time. Some take to each other right away - others take months - others never become best buddies but they learn to co-exist. |
Bumping this for you. Hopefully some rescue folks will have some advice for you. Btw, bless your big heart for taking these kiddos in . |
time will help and be sure foxy gets everything first as you said ur doing. just give her time to see what the puppy is all about and that she is still number one. shes trying to show the puppy whos boss ...lola was a bit like this when i first brought keylo home. it took her a few weeks to even let keylo near her at bedtime and a few months for her to allow keylo to even sleep next to her. i just kept lola in the proper order of everything and kept showing lola that i love her just as much with attention and what not. best of luck im sure others will offer advice as well. |
I don't know what I'd do but I'd like to thank you for trying to help them. My Yorkie Romeo was hit by a car but cars just drove by like it was nothing. 2 cars actually hit her and someone saw it happening and walked by like it was nothing as well. Thank God there are people like you still in this world. I just wish there were good people here who would have helped my Romeo. |
