Dino and Mr. Bucket are going to be neutered tomorrow morning.

I think I have everything ready. My friend gave me 2 play pens she wasn't using so I made their own private recoup area that I can watch over them for the next few days.

I am going to try putting them in onesies instead of that awful looking cone.

Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers.

I have no clue how I am going to be able to work when they are in surgery. Good thing I have a ton of things to do tomorrow.


P.S.: My family thinks I am crazy for setting up a whole recovery area but they are very active little yorkies that are known for getting into mischief.

I'm so glad you are going to try the onesies. I really don't like the cones. Shelby had one BRIEFLY and it just seems mean. He walked with his head down..running into walls..the whole time and couldn't really get to his food dish to eat. I think a onsie is better.

They will do great. My little guy was done 2 weeks ago tomorrow. Tonight is actually our last night he has to wear the cone of shame. Yahoo.

We actually bought one t the pet store as the one the vet sold us was massive. This one was perfect and he hasn't minded it at all. When it is time to have it put on he actually comes to you and sits perfect while you put it on he still plays and sleeps perfectly fine. During the day we have left it off as long as we are with him.

Sending prayers your way! I know how scary it is leaving your babies at the vet for surgery. Mr. Bucket and Dino will be great! Hoping for a smooth recovery :D

I just got news from the Vet. They are out of surgery and doing well! I can go pick them up after 2. I am so happy!!

Sending prayers and warm wishes for everyone. I love that you are using onesies. We used them on Gretel after her surgery and they worked great! I didn't even cut the bottoms off and she was so much more comfortable. I'll never use a cone again unless I have no other choice.

In this pict Gretel had stitches down her entire tummy and the onesie didn't bother her at all.

Just seeing this thread...good thoughts and prayers for your boys today! I am so glad they are out of surgery and did great. I love your recovery set up!! I know 2pm can't come soon enough for you :)

So, is it after 2 yet? It's not here but I think it is where you live.

I'm so happy everything went well. Will pray for a speedy recovery. Good luck keeping them still hehe

They are home already. Bucket is moreless awake but Dino is still drowsy. They seem fine. I have them in their onesies and they are cuddling with me on the air mattress. Thank you everyone for your kindness.
