I haven't seen her in a while... I think people do get busy though. I know life has been crazy here, but I've tried to continue posting :)

Some people where very nasty to her for no reason so she hasn't come back sense then.

Yup, very sad...I miss them both. I PM'ed w/Mom to Hot Rod couple of months back & she was very bz. Hope she'll find the time to pop in & say 'Hi' to everyone.

I think Brit had some great knowledge on dog food and loved hearing what she had to say and still ask her questions. It's sad when people think the food they are feeding is the almighty food better then others when no food is perfect.

It is strange how all of a sudden you just think of someone and realize you haven't heard from them in a while.

That is sad if anyone is mistreated here. We should be as kind and understanding to each other, and everyone, as we are to our furry little munchkins :)

There's a few that I don't see posting here anymore...I was thinking that maybe I was just missing their posts, as I've been kinda hibernating this winter. I miss Brister & Gidget529 as well as Hot Rod :(

Missing them, too. Hope they will both be back on soon. I just realized this week I hadn't seen Brit on in a long time but hadn't noticed MTHR until this thread. We nee them both back here!

Admin is good. If a member mistreats another going against the YT Rules they will be "suspended"!! :thumbup: :thumbup:

The administration and moderators are great! Nevertheless, feelings get hurt all the time. To purposely hurt someone is very sad. I hope these valued members are okay and come back. They are missed.

I don't see where they have Left.... if so it would say "No Longer A Member" under their names. They probably just needed to take a little break which is completely understandable. You can always PM them and it will send a message to their email address... if they have it set up that way.

Some people are quite cruel to those who have chosen to feed raw diets to their dogs. It seems to be a hot button topic here for some.

I feed raw and sometimes feel like I'm all alone...and then others pipe up. Which makes me feel good. :)

Raw is still relatively "new" in the acceptance ring (even though it's the oldest feeding style, lol). So it's still a hot topic as you mentioned and, unfortunately, controversial.

I know Hot Rod's Mom was selling Stella & Chewy's food on her site. It is one of the best raw companies available. I feed the frozen form of it. Many vets have taken a stand against raw feeding and I think that may embolden some who feel they are defending dogs. However, if you see how the pet food industry fundamentally supports vet colleges and business you can see how deeply they are intrenched in the situation. At any rate the fact is many have found raw feeding to be a very helpful method of feeding and certainly would not do it if it were harming the dogs they love. I don't know why people are not free to share their own methods and what has worked for them in these matters without being treated as though they were some lower life form. There are many dogs that had chronic problems that have been helped by raw feeding.

I Absolutely Loved Feeding Raw! :thumbup: :thumbup: Although my old vets office here in the City is Completely 100% against it!!

I went to two different seminars... One from a Primal Rep and one from a Natures Variety Rep. I was feeding it both meals at one time and then I fed it for just one meal a day... The only reason I stopped was because Riley had a really Severe reaction to some Primal Lamb, even though he had eaten it months before, and because It was also making him gain weight and he was always hungry.

After a couple of kibble trials and him not completely clearing up I tried canine caviar and that is what worked and completely cleared him up immediately. I have 2 bags if Nature Variety Small Bites in my freezer that I may start adding for one meal again... Before it expires. I just wanted to get him all clear before I started adding anything else.
