Raw is still relatively "new" in the acceptance ring (even though it's the oldest feeding style, lol). So it's still a hot topic as you mentioned and, unfortunately, controversial. | I Absolutely Loved Feeding Raw! :thumbup: :thumbup: Although my old vets office here in the City is Completely 100% against it!!
I went to two different seminars... One from a Primal Rep and one from a Natures Variety Rep. I was feeding it both meals at one time and then I fed it for just one meal a day... The only reason I stopped was because Riley had a really Severe reaction to some Primal Lamb, even though he had eaten it months before, and because It was also making him gain weight and he was always hungry.
After a couple of kibble trials and him not completely clearing up I tried canine caviar and that is what worked and completely cleared him up immediately. I have 2 bags if Nature Variety Small Bites in my freezer that I may start adding for one meal again... Before it expires. I just wanted to get him all clear before I started adding anything else. |
