Is my benny a Yorkie or a mix?

Hello all, when I got benny he came from a bad home, didn't have any papers or any history at all. His hair was a curly mess, so I decided that after he had his shots that I would take him and get his hair cut. He looks much better now, but a few of my friends keep saying that he looks more like a Chihuahua instead of a Yorkie. Either way though I still love him the same way, but was wanting you awesome people's opinion. Here is a few different pictures of benny.

Yes, I have resized them down to what they need to be, but I'm still unable to upload them.

From your avatar he looks like a real cutie. He looks like a yorkie to me perhaps he has some Chi in him. As long as he's lovable what does it really matter.

aww he is so cute! Hm... dont know, he seems all Yorkie to me. But if his hair was a mess makes me think it should have a bit of a Chi in him. They call them Chorkies, have a look around the web to see them. :)

He looks Yorkie to me. He kept the Yorkie markings and most mixes don't do that.....it's unusual anyway. Maybe the short haircut has people wondering? Does he have a tail? Sometimes that confuses people.

He does look to be mixed, but with what. Maybe you could ask the person you got him from for possible males the female came into contact with.

They said he was full blooded but didn't have any information on him or who is parents were.

He is so cute. I think he may be a mix. Yorwawa (Yorkie dad, Chihuahua mom ?) OR
Chiorkie (Chihuahua Dad and Yorkie Mom ?) What ever his parents, he is just adorable !

Benny is adorable no matter what he "is". You can sure see the Yorkie in him. I think the Chi is showing in the length of his nose. How old is he? He sure looks cute!!

Here is a pic of Brandi after I first brought her home. She was 7 yrs old at the time.

1st As you can see she looks just like a Chi with those ears. This was after her first visit to the groomers. Her hair was so bad that we decided to just cut it all off and start from scratch.
2nd After her hair grew back. I think Brandi is probably more silky than yorkie though. Who knows and I certainly don't care.

As you can see in the 1st pic she doesn't like look like a yorkie at all. In fact people use to thinks she was either a chi or chorkie.

He is 14 weeks old.

Wow what a difference it made with all of that hair, I did the same thing. When I got benny his hair looked awful so I got it cut so we can start over.
