of course there is always the plant mister filled with water. if the dog chases your dog, squirt to the face.. if the woman bugs you, squirt her in the face too. lol:D

She called your yorkie an "ugly rat??" That woman is a c-word. It's no wonder her dog is an a**hole. Like owner, like dog.

I do not take my kids to dog parks, but I was wondering if you reported the incident, woman, and 'offensive' dog to whomever runs the dog park...or, is it possible to do so? That is scary.

We don't have dog parks in my area....so do you ever worry about the other dogs being utd on their shots or having something contagious? :eek: Sorry, I am a little paranoid!

What a mean spirited person to call beautiful Luma names!

Relative to dog parks and dog encounters, I have come to accept the fact that different people have different views of what is acceptable behavior (forget the posted rules) and what is safe behavior. In other words, I expect the worst. ;):)

I hope you and Luma don't have to deal with this person again.

That's one reason why I'm tired of the dog parks around here. And we have 3 or 4 to choose from! But, as everyone has stated, some dog owners should NOT be dog owners! Of course, even when I take Graysee for walks around our neighborhood, there are a few owners who can't (or WON'T) control their aggressive/obnoxious dogs, and I have to keep Graysee's leash tight, as she wants to make friends with EVERY dog she sees! At least we have a decent-sized fenced backyard that she never seems to get tired exploring! I just wish there were some doggie socialization groups happening in MY neck of the woods.
