Thank you for your kind words and birthday wish. We hope to have a fun filled day tomorrow! |
I have 6 Biewers and 1 Havanese. They are all healthy. I only breed healthy pairs. One of the many reasons why my health guarantee is offered to new parents. There are healthy parents out there producing healthy puppies. |
Sophie is a perfectly healthy girl and always has been, thank God! Her temperament is also wonderful She is 7 lbs and just over 5 years old. We bought her from YT member Walnut Hill :) |
I have been blessed to have the opportunity to purchase healthy breeding pairs, which beget healthy babies.....but that is not "by chance"....it has to do with pedigrees, healthy dogs going back for many, many generations. Your breeding program is only as strong as the foundation you have built upon. |
Yup ^^^ agree. Breed only healthy dogs. That why you wait till the Dogs a mature and have a healthy line. Fix any that aren't. Or that aren't in the breeding program. Moki still going good 1yr 10mo. Greeders breed anything so never buy from them |
Huey has been wonderfully healthy, and his parents were not genetically checked (byb) so I am especially lucky. The only issues he ever had, I was able to trace back as a medication reaction to Trifexis, and he has not had any issues at all since stopping that med. He is even free of lp or any other ortho issues and just had his 5th birthday. :D |
No, my dog began showing symptoms of MVD when he was 3 -4 years(pretty healthy until then) but Tibbe was a kind of a rescue in a way at 9 mos. of age when I got him, so I knew I could likely be getting a dog with congenital health problems lurking and I could tell from the moment I saw him, 9 mos. in a cage under an outside shed had left him with many behavioral and fear issues. But good vetting, proper care and training have remade him into a lovely, happy, frisky, well-behaved pet with only the occasional nausea, spitting up from his liver condition and virtually zero behavior problems now. |
Blazer is almost two years old and so far he's as healthy as can be! |
No, but seeing as how and from whom I got Uni from she is fairly healthy, and I got extremely lucky. We bought her from who I now think is a broker. :( She had Grade 2-3 LP and pancreatitis. I count my blessings. Toto has been with us for about a year. So far so good. But he also has LP. He also has a deformity on his pinky "fingers" on his front paws, although genetic, I won't count it against not being healthy, tho it's not normal. |
I have never had problems && Mickey is almost 8months. |

Rasta's 10 months and have never had any type of health issues. He's as healthy as a horse not fragile at all. |
Bella is 13 months and very healthy |
It's been a whole year since I first responded on this thread. ZoE is now 3 years old and still healthy! |
so far, the only thing wrong with my 2 girls is retained baby teeth (which will be extracted when spayed) |
Galen is healthy, knock on wood. He comes from a reputable breeder. The only thing I have a problem with is him eating . . . . He is a finicky little Biewer ! |
Well two of my four were healthy. Unfortunately Brandi who was seemingly a very healthy gal at the age of 7 was diagnosed with an incurable disease that eventually took her life. With the exception of Miah who is now 9 had the fatty cell tumor removed just over a year ago. My Quincy 11 only has fall allergies and Ruby 4 All are very healthy otherwise!! |
Lola turned three in Dec and so far very healthy, even her teeth hardly show any signs of tartar. But as I type this response I am knocking on wood, knowing the shoe could drop any moment. Currently though I have her on a diet, I was very surprised when I realized my extremely active little girl is starting to get quite porky |
I have 5 yorkies at present. My Izzy, 5 years old, does have seizures and is on phenobarb. I think part aof the problem is she is so small, just under 3 pounds although her brother at 6 years is 2.5 pounds and is perfectly healthy. My Sebby came from a puppy mill and his only issue seems to be poor dental care prior to coming to us. My Niko and Piper are still babies, 16 months and 7 months and are perfectly healthy. |
Macaroni is a yr old and healthy (counting my blessings) |
