Even though Oracle/Java says they have fixed the problem and to download the security patch(?up to 50 or so "fixes"?), geeks are saying it is still quite vulnerable. Norton Internet Security, which is my protective software, claims they are managing the exploits that continue and it is safe with NIS but I'm too fearful. Until I start hearing all the geeky types are using Java again, I'm not taking the chance. |
