I purchased pad holders but they seem that they don't want to use them any longer help what can I do to help them use them or should I go back to pads on floor?

I keep our pads on a piece of linoleum that is slightly larger than the pad itself, so the pad isn't directly on the carpeting.

From everything I have read here, standard holders typically deter the dogs from using the pads, or the dogs go on the side of the holder.

I would get rid of the holders.

mine didnt like it either. I use washables but put a disposable on top of it.. works great and I dont have to wash the underneath pad as much..

I have tried and used several different things. This is what works best for my Yorkies now. One exta large washable pee-pad on the floor. I use a palm sized rounded river rock on each corner. Then I place a smaller 14 by 20 washable pad on top that. This works better than any holder I have ever tried.
