That works for some dogs, but it can also be a danger for others. There have been members here whose dogs got the collars stuck in their mouths creating a life-threatening situation.

Personally, I'm the cotton owning breakaway collar type. (X12 for easy washing since he wears them 24/7) They've been good to us, easy cleaning (I change his collar after each bath) and it gives me piece of mind. He'll have info on him when needed, and he won't choke like a regular collar. However, I love love love my red BB collar. We use it whenever we go visiting because its just so sharp and pretty. And he's under my constant supervision should he get in trouble I can get it right off. |
