Villette, I want to say that you give gifts far more valuable than money! When any gift is from the heart it becomes an invaluable present. Giving is like throwing a pebble into a pond and the value is in watching the ripples go and go til they reach something else and splash a little bit. I have been able to give from time to time, but I have received far more than I have given.
Thru this forum, I have met some of the angels that God has put on this earth to help and watch over us. I have the most wonderful little 7 year old boy pen pal because of this forum. I have his school papers and pictures all over the family room. I have eaten jars of homemade jams and pickles he sent all the way from Minnesota to MD. His messages have made me smile when I was down and, like the ripples in the pond, when I shared them with my grand daughter who is away in college, she has smiled. So, joy just keeps spreading and we don't always realize it or acknowledge it..

Oh Jessica - that was beautiful !! that touched me because we do need to remember to look PAST the hard living on their faces... remember there really are people behind those outreached hands.... and by letting him pet Biddy you probably sent him back in time to a happier day and that really IS a beautiful way to be. Very touching post girl.....

Rini - Whispersmom - I know how much Brandon means and he loves you as much as you love him - it IS so cool how we can connect with so many people we'd have never had a chance to meet thru the net and this site. Speaking of good acts - you've done quite a few of them yourself and I know you have one of the biggest hearts out there...you should write a book one day Rini

I got tears in my eyes hearing your story. That is so wonderful you did that for that man! It is a pleasure having you on our boards to brighten up our days and eyes to realize the true meaning of Christmas. :p

Oh ....he touched me more than what I did - his face stayed with me all day ...he had the smile of an angel this morning :)

I know for me, when I had my times of need- anyone who helped out, no matter what it was- was an angel to me. I also vowed to give back what I recieved when I was able- although it isn't to the same people, it is to people in need.

Pay it foward is my moto.

The stories shared here are so very touching, and brings out the true meaning of the holiday station- many of the times it isn't just money either- for instance the person who let a stranger pet their dog- which brought a smile to many people that day.

Thank you for sharing that story Villette- you made that mans year... and you will remain in his heart forever... just like those that gave to me during my time of need will.

I love these stories, thanks to all who have shared them :)

Oh Villette, what more can I say that's not already been said here? I will tell you that friendships are worth more than gold to me and when I needed advice, you were there for me. I would keep bugging you and you always replied to me. I had told you that one day I'd like to become friends, and you replied that we already were. I will never ever forget that. You just don't know how special you are to all of us here. I know if I were ever in need of anything, I can come here and there would be my friends here to give advice and help me out. I didn't have any kind of support system for years, and through YT, I have a great one now.

We really need to Thank YOU for being the person that you are and that WE had the oppertunity to get to know YOU ... What you did for that little man today is what you do for us all the time when we are in need to speak to someone on here! You give us SO much of yourself and touch our hearts in SO many ways :) Thank you Villette!

We DO have so much to be thankful for! I couldn't agree more with everyone! When I think about the people this year just here in the U.S. that lost EVERYTHING-yet they are still thanking God for their health, loved ones, etc...Sometimes we just have to stop and put things in perspective. Thanks for reminding us, Villette. :)

Merry Chirstmas Vette, You have a careing heart and this day and age that is hard to find. I'd loved to have been in your secret blessing , I think your a wonderful person. Know for sure God will pour you out a special Blessing for helping the man. We had a little bad luck in Nov. my hubbys debt card was taken over the computer. but i send my love and my Blessings to you and yours and the girls. Love ya Maggie

SERIOUSLY, that is THE most touching story- as i sit here wiping away tears!!. you are such a special person- i only joined about a month ago and it is beyond apparent the impact you have on everyone on this board and seeing that you have like 94524920423 posts, you truly make a point to invest time in the lives of ALL of us here. you are the epitome of the christmas spirit!! and i admire you so freakin much!

I was reading about a woman in India who needed a sewing machine. Getting one totally changed her life. She was able to make a living for her family..she went from begging for food, to being able to buy it..all because of a $50.
Another woman needed a $28 goat for milk to sell..sometimes we think it takes a rich person to make a diffrence..not so.

I just read your story and it is very touching. You are such a kind and giving person, and what you did reminds me now that it is in giving that we receive. Thank you for sharing that with us. Wish I could be more like you!

I haven't been on for, it seems like ages, due to my mother's death and dealing with a new little puppy, but I always look for your posts because they are alwayse so uplifting and helpful. I hope you have a wonderful Christmas and a happy New Year. This has been a very hard year for me, and I hope I never live through another one like it, but there are blessings all around me in the friends that surround me. I really would like to also thank the members here who have been so much help to me with Copper and Leilani (Daisy). We shortened her name because it is much easier to call her that way. My little sweethearts are doing well, but I am really exhausted. I am enjoying a much needed Winter Break from school. Best wishes to all of the wonderful friends I have met on this forum.

Oh Ann...I'm so sorry about your mom and I wish YOU a Happy Holiday season ....it sounds like you're really been thru alot and I'm sending you a big hug and hope it helps a little....

My condolences to you about your mom...I'd love to see your little sweeties - they can really help us in a time of loss and grieving....but the holidays can just be so hard when we've lost someone -

I really hope things start getting better for you....
