Just awful. How can someone be proud of forcing a tiny 32 OUNCE YORKIE to have babies ? To me - it's Abuse.

Course they accept every form of currency available AND Ship anywhere in the US - I can see the love just OOZING from THAT site. :mad:

Kimberley, i was kinda hoping to not have a hotlink from YT to that breeder's website... hence the request to cut and paste the link in my previous post....

but yeah... all the dam's are tinies, not a one over 4 lbs.

What do YOU think? If she sells something not recognized like a YORKIE? :eek: This puppy is NOT a yorkie for sure.
The price is too high. In my opinion, just one more BYB or puppy mill.

I didn't notice the white pup as a yorkie (labeled). I was just thinking that she had malteses too.
She also had all the pups labeled as champion sired too at first and I had to ask her - she then said it was a mistake and had it changed. Maybe she didn't realize she has yorkie labeled for this white pup. I also asked her what lines her were from - she stated Clarkwyn Jubliee Eagle.

I completely agree,and I DO have the resources to keep a tiny healthy. I would never even consider getting one, unless I had already considered these factors. A yorkie or any other animal is not a purchase, but rather a lifetime committment, and I know this.That is why, I said I was taking my time, and being very cautious about getting/adopting a tiny.

Great thread Villette!!! I agree 100%!!! It never seizes to amaze me how some people feel about animals, they see them as mponey makers and have no love at all for them, it really angers me :mad:

I totally agreed. The information is much needed. I know it's bad that people are breeding and selling the so-call tea cup Yorkies. And I know how hard it is for puppies to make it. However, I never thought about how hard it is on the mother dog. It is heart breaking to hear what they have to go thru to produce these tea cup ones. I myself never consider getting a tea cup just because that's not what a Yorkie suppose to be. Commom senses, I guess. In my mind, trying to go against nature can not be right.

So many people are being mislead into thinking the smaller the Yorkie the better these days. They are not bad people just mis-informed. If we can get the words out and educate them, a lot of dog and puppies can be saved.

Here is something I like to add.

I also agree with the idea of adopting a tea-cup just because we are a lot more informed and better qualified to care for one - providing that money is non-issue.

What I am worry about is if we keep buying them people would keep breeding them. It's not a good situation and the puppies are the one that suffered the most. It needs to be stopped.

With that said, it is hard to tell what I would do if I see a tiny who really needs a good home. I might very well take the little one under my wing. When they are so tiny, cute and helpless, who wouldn't want to try and save them? :(

I totally agree - this post is mostly geared to those out there breeding smaller and smaller...not to the people who would love a tiny -

I think we all love them - but I sure would like to see the country look at yorkies and find them cute at their NORMAL size... 4-8 lbs is plenty tiny.

If this fad about tinies keeps going - one day they\'ll destroy the breed.... and coldblooded people will be trying to Breed ONE Pounders - and that\'s just soooooooo wrong...

countless females are going to suffer & die if the breeders keep going smaller and smaller. :(
