I give my syphin a bath once a week with a trip to the groomers every 2-3 months. I have a question though. What kind of wipes do you use on your babies for daily cleaning? Right now I just use a warm washcloth with a very small twinge of his shampoo for his private parts. I would love to use wipes I'm just not too sure which ones to use lol |
Bumping this up. Anyone? Lol |
I use the Earthbath brand. They have a couple of different kinds but I use the hypoallergenic kind. I have seen some people who use regular baby wipes on their dogs. I also use a spray shampoo on feet, legs, and belly when we have been out where there ground is still damp. Chris Christensen's Show Off has worked great for us. |
Costci Costco (kirkland or the other) wipes in sensative and before that Broody Chick Sensative brand...these are both designed for hypoallergenic nonalcohol infant wipes. |
Thanks :) |
Henri gets a bath once a week and brushed every day. I use Pet Head: Royal Treatment shampoo, it keeps him smelling good for a few days and the Aloe Vera in it keeps his skin healthy, recently my mom started using Pet Head on her pug who gets stinky really fast and it made an improvement. Good luck with your furbaby :) |

I think you should bathe them as soon as they get smelly and prefferably before. These are not regular dogs :) their babies :p Many sleep in our beds and go everywhere. I for one am not carrying around a smelly dog because it hasn't been a week yet. Use a good shampoo/conditioner and don't put a lot of goop in their hair. In-between baths maybe use baby wipes. Alter this depending on your dogs reaction. Adding salmon oil to their food will care for the hair inside out not just topical. |
