Has my husband hacked yorkietalk??? As you know, he was in an accident and totaled his truck...and I know hes been wanting the Ford Raptor. All I keep seeing for my banner at the top of the page is Ford advertisements! LOL Has he hacked you trying to get me to let him buy that truck?: |
LOL! Too funny! I get a lot of puppy adverts.... |
No, I haven't seen his truck ads on my views of YT. I think each of us just gets searches and terms we use on here, I think, in the banners and ads and perhaps terms that we put in Google search? Not sure how it all works but I know whatever I'm commenting about or searching for usually seems to show up in the ads soon! |
Oh I know, its like facebook and uses what we have been frequently searching...which is clearly a new truck for him haha..I just found it comical that it would be here. |
I remember thinking that was funny too some of the things that showed up on the YT site, especially all kinds of "teacup" Yorkie breeders and such when I was posting on a thread about "teacup" Yorkies, etc., but now I don't notice them that much. |
It's because google (and other search engines) sells/tracks your search history.. :( |
Mine keeps showing me Ford Bronco's and BMWs lol |
Ha ha |
LOL! Sounds suspicious to me! :) |

Ha! That's hilarious... you know he's been looking cuz you see those ads and you know you didn't look at no trucks! I catch my DH that way all the time. He's always like, how the heck do you know every little thing I do. I always tell him any good wife always knows what their dh is up to. LOL. But I never give away my secrets. |
Maybe I should start typing about and start searching for hunky men :D |

It keeps track of your history and posts ads that match what you've searched for. I have an adblocker, so I don't see the ads anymore :D |
I purchased 3 things off eBay today. And at the bottom of each check out... It gave me a place to donate money to some animal group. Of course. I did all 3 times :) |
Ha ha ... My banners are all for. Either.. Yorkie puppies😝would not buy online of course, Chico or diets |

My ad is for Baby Magic baby lotion! wth??? Only kinda baby thing I've done on my puter was post on FB last week that I didn't like the movie This Is 40....because I don't consider pregnant at 40 a comedy, but rather a nightmare! "They" must be watching me :questione (<-- I couldn't find a paranoid emoticon, so that one will have to do :D) |

This is all too funny!!! I fully expect my DH to figure out my passcode and log on as me. He's just too inquisitive! LOL |
Hmm. I have noticed a lot of my ads are food-related! |
Why am I seeing a bed-bug ad over and over today??????????????????????? And it's really graphic and icky. Eeewwwww. |

Oh, I use IE9 I think it is. That is the difference then. I did mute the bed-bug ad and really like most of the other ads, though, as they are mostly related to things I like. So I click on them quite a bit! Just don't need bed-bug ads. Ugh! Nasty-looking little buggers really big on the computer screen! |
I use chrome |
Here's one for IE9 if you want, but sounds like you enjoy the ads. :) Adblock Internet Explorer 9 – Simple Adblock And here's one for you Chrome browser... https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/adblock/gighmmpiobklfepjocnamgkkbiglidom?hl=en
Thank you. I was always worried one of those would slow my browser down a little and didn't ever get one before. Wouldn't you think that the extra ad blocker eats some bandwidth? I'd always read this and would rather see some ads that be one iota slower. I do mostly enjoy the ads as they are usually fairly closely tailored to my interests and I often click on them, which also nets YorkieTalk some $$$ each click. Still, if I see many more yucky ones like that disgusting flesh-colored bedbug ad, I might download this program! I bookmarked it so I can go there if I decide to use it. Thank you again. |
