Just checking...Andy, we are :hands: for you to :getwellso...and sending lots of hugs :hug60: and Yorkie kisses to you, Sally, and Harry! |
I'm awfully worried since we haven't heard from Sally in a long time. Poor things. |
I hope all is well for Andy, Sally, and Harry. Sending prayers and best wishes. |
I am checking for an update. Sally, we are all praying that Andy's surgery went extremely well. |
I so hated to bother her but finally broke down and emailed Sally. Hopefully she is visiting Andy and will get getting home soon and have a chance to read YT or email. Here's hoping and praying all if fine with both of them. |
Oh my, I'm so sorry...thank goodness I'd booked Harry in with his Harry-sitter. I got home about an hour ago (I've stayed with Andy all the time, my goodness I need a soak!), have put the washing on, and YT was my next stop.... Andy's been in Intensive Care all this time - it couldn't be done 'keyhole' although they tried (in 3 places) so the cut is huge. Apparently they've 'got it all' and he doesn't have to have a bag... Unfortunately on top of it all he contracted a chest infection, they had to disperse a clot on his lungs and now he has an oxygen mask as well as the morphine, intravenous antibiotic drip and everything else.... But he's alive and well (ish!!!) and kicking....and I thank all of you, each and every one of my YT friends, for all your love, support and prayers...I'm sure you saw him through. Thank you :) xxx |
Ahhhhhhhhhhh......just let out a big sigh. I'm thrilled to death to hear that Andy made it through this awful surgery and the infection, clot and you, too, are relatively okay, though no doubt tired as can be. Oh, I'm so relieved to hear. Just ignore my other messages and go on and get your rest, play with Harry and see to your other family. Thank the Lord Andy is done with surgery and on the mend, though no doubt he feels pretty tough right now. Poor guy. But he's alive and getting better!!! Such fabulous news, Sally. Now go rest. Love and hugs to you and Andy and little Harry. |
Keeping the prayers going for a continued and speedy recovery! Thanks so much for the update. Big Hugs to you both, and Harry too!:D |
Thank you my dear friends...my goodness I wish we lived closer :) Night night, and enjoy the rest of your day. Poor Harry's absolutely exhausted too - emotionally drained I think the term is....got a strange feeling he'll manage to negotiate that hospital table thingy when the time comes.... :D Sally + Harry x |
'Night, Sally et al. Sweet dreams. |
Oh my goodness...Sally that sounds like quite an ordeal. I am glad to hear Andy is all done with it, and sending all kinds of healing energy, thoughts, and wishes to you all! {{{Hugs}}} |
I'm sorry, missed your post before somehow. I myself just have a plain, old Cox link fence, I think it is called, regulation height with a back boat gate and side gate. I do have locks on the gates as the police says that locked gates do tend to prevent robberies as a lock of spontaneous robbers don't have the ability to cut a lock off and don't want to/can't jump the fence to gain access to the back of the house, where most robbers try to enter. I would be sure to get a much higher fence built if I had a big, powerful breed as they can jump or climb over regular fencing. If you have a smaller dog, be sure that the fence has no 4" wide openings between the gate and the fence or underneath the gate clearance. A smaller Yorkie of say 5 lbs. can get out a 4" opening or clearance with no problem - I've seen it with my own eyes. |

:( I didn\'t like to start a new thread, but need some more good thoughts and prayers for my Andy again, please. Once again, he needs major surgery - and it\'s happening this Saturday 14th. He\'s been very, very poorly since Christmas Day....it boils down to the nerves that travel from his brain, going through his neck into his back, go through several holes, which are closing in and trapping those nerves. Plus he has a prolapsed disc which is pressing IN on his spinal column....:( He\'s been on tramadol, diazepam and morphine for weeks, in fact months now - plus a tens machine. He is having keyhole surgery, drilling through those \'holes\' to open them up and release the nerves....it\'s very risky and I\'m so worried....it will be ok, won\'t it....please? xxx |
