What a wonderful Christmas for you and the breeder who made your dream come true! Angels come in all forms! Please let us know when he arrives! |
Ok! read the post, and I'm in tears also. I'm so happy for you. You sound like you are going to be an awesome mommy, and I'm sure the person that gave you this big gift, realizes that also :) |
I believe in angels!! Congrats on your new baby your story is heartwarming. The breeder that gave you this baby sure has her heart in the right place! Merry Christmas :angel2dl: :tinyheart |
There are angels among us. On Friday, I had some terrible worries about a puppy that was being sent to me. He would arrive after the customs had closed at the airport at 10 p.m.. I asked people to pray that he would be okay because he could not stay in a crate overnite. I cried, I begged, I went on an emotional roller coaster..my baby needed to be home with me. The customs, God bless 'em, said they would wait about a half hour overtime and clear him. Gave me phone numbers to call and so on. Then, the weather was not great at the airport where he would land first. Dear God, what if the plane can't take off? What will he do? What if he's late. I had already made up my mind to sleep by his side on the floor if need be. Pat, Tammy and others told me it would be okay and I began to feel that it really would be okay... At 8:45 p.m. the airlines called and said they had a puppy in the cargo waiting to be picked up. Oh Lord, he was in the wrong place and I needed to get him thru customs. Well, I really do need to have more faith...that baby had been cleared thru customs in first US city and was a domestic cargo baby. I did not intend to high-jack your thread but this is yet another example of the power of prayer and evidence of those angels that help us in so many ways..Bless you and your new Matty and your sis for being so caring in transporting him on home to you.. |
I'm so very happy that your puppy is safe at home as well. Airline travel is so horrendous nowadays that I can't imagine what the little guy and yourself were going through. God certainly has been good to several of us in obvious ways this week, eh? God bless.... (countdown continues... my sister still isn't home yet. She has about another hour or two of driving, depending on traffic, before I get to hold my baby! My husband is staying awake with me cause he is gonna take video of Mattie being placed in my arms for the first time!!) |
congrats ahhhhhhhh this is a wonderful gift! The gift of a loving furbaby for you & the gift of your story for us! :) May god bless the loving heart that adopted Mattie to you. |
Okay, now my mouth just dropped open. What a sweet thing to do...more proof (if any are needed) of what a wonderful man he is. I want to stay up and see them first BUT, us old people hafta get our ugly sleep..Never can sleep long enough to get "beauty sleep"...LOL Bet I know someone who will not get much sleep tonight and maybe a few more til he settles in. G'nite, Matthew...sweet dreams little guy.... |
Awww What a wonderful gift someone special has gave to you.I wish you the best of luck to you and your new baby. I cant wait to see pictures. Who ever you are what a very special person you must be. To feel someones dreams. This was so very nice of you Merry Christmas to you and yours. |
I'm so very happy for you! What a sweet, kind hearted person to do this for you! It is the time for giving and someone has given you the most wonderful gift ever! Cant wait to see some pics when you are able. And whispermom, i'm glad that it worked out with your puppy. Shipping can be so scary and imports really will tear your nerves up! I don't know how I ever got through it, but it worked out great in the end. I'd do it again and plan to in the coming year! I want to see a pic of your puppy too! |
Yours was the first thread I opened tonight and I'm so glad I did! I was just crying, crying tears of happiness for you. I know this furbaby will never replace the one you lost but I know you will give him so much love.I just think how warm and cuddly they are and listening to that tiny little heartbeat and their little breaths while they sleep is the cutest thing ever! I'm just so happy for you !!!! I have a huge lump in my throat cause I want to cry some more lol. I'm sure by now that your little baby is home with you since it's almost 1 am! I will check around 10 am and hopefully hear news of your little guy. To the person who let you adopt him. I don't think they will truly ever know what a beautiful gift this little furbaby was for you. night, Genie & Cookie |
What a beautiful story, it just proves that God is in our lives. I cannot wait to see pictures, bet you won't sleep tonight. |
I'm trying to keep the tears in my eyes after reading all this but it just isn't working. Such a beautiful thing is happening for you today. I can't wait to see pics of you with your new baby. He is a very lucky little guy. |
Oh my gosh...I am so excited for you. I got my little Dollie on Christmas last year from my husband. I love her so much. She is in bed sleeping with my husband right now, .... of course she sleeps with us. Doesn't know what a doggie bed is...LOL....Anyhow, just wanted to say she is the joy of my life..and I wish you and your new baby all our best wishes....Oh, what these little angles bring to your life. God Bless and take pic's. We are all just so excited to see your baby...... |
