Our bag of CC Open Sky arrived today.
Mickey took some of it out of his bowl, rolled on it and then ate it. Weird:) LOL
Smells good to me!
The boys keep begging for more! They seem to love it. I love the ingredients.
Hope this works! Not stopping until the bottom of the bag before evaluate.

LOL!! Riley sometimes does the same thing! He will take a kibble
out, roll on it on the kitchen floor then eat it... then he'll eat the
rest of the kibble.
Yeah... My bag smells fine... doesn't really have that much of a smell
at all really.

Fingers Crossed it works!!
Riley is Still Loving It, almost 5 months later!!

I seem to be having a hard time finding this food. I thought I had a distributor not far from me but she doesn't carry it...thought she could still order it though :confused: The other one I contacted said they no longer carry it and they asked me to stop in for some 'much better options'. There are 2 other stores mentioned but they are quite a bit further away so I'm going to call them and see if they still carry it.

Do any of you buy yours online? The CC website has several online stores listed but I don't ever shop online so I'm not sure about ordering.

If you do order yours online, what site do you use?

When I first tried it I ordered from chewy.com
They have Free Shipping over $49 and I got my bag in 2 days.
I believe the smallest bag they carry in the grain free though are
the 12lb bags.

Pet Food Station carries the 4.4lb bags...although I have never
had to order from them, I think that if I had to order online I
would give them a try. They also have Free Shipping over $49.

PetFoodStation - Canine Caviar

There is a place not too far from me, who used to carry it....
They don't carry it any longer, but the manager told me she
could order it for me, anytime. She also said that it was a
Great food that she could not keep in stock. She is a small
store so she does special orders for people, now...

You could call Canine Caviar's toll free number and they can give
you some places that carry it...

One last thing.. . there were some places around here that carry
it but but were not on the store locator on Canine Caviar's website.

So I think you just have to call around to find it...
But i would think if there is a store around you that used to carry it
they should still be able to get it.

I wonder what the stores "much better options" are??

I don't know...I asked them that in my reply but I haven't heard from them yet. I told them what I feed now and how highly the CC was recommended so it will be interesting to see what they say.

Thank you for the information...I'll keep looking. The one last store that's about an hour away does have a nice antique mall so we could just make a day of it :) but finding it closer to home, with winter and the real possibility of bad roads coming, would be nice.

discounts from time to time so I am stocked up, now for a while. :D

Thanks, I will. The refrigeration info helps too because we do keep an extra fridge in the basement so if it works for them I could stock up for winter :D

today DH and I went to don and chuck to buy CC open sky. Jasmin has recently been a picky eater. She hasn't been touching her food this whole week. Well tonight I mixed in a little of the CC. She ate her dinner up. I am glad she likes it. We also got a can of the CC turkey just in case we need to mix it in with the dry food. I am really hoping this food will work for her.

so far jasmin is doing well on the CC. However, I noticed that she is drinking more water than usual. Hopefully this is normal.

SO far here the Open Sky CC is doing GREAT!!!! Stools are small and firm again. Boys LOVE it. I think it smells good. :thumbup::thumbup: Size is good too. Not too big.
ANd funniest thing I have never sen before...
When it first came I put about 5 pieces down for Mickey to try. He carried it to his bed and started rolling all over it for about 5 min before he ate it. It was so funny!!!

That's Hilarious!
Riley will occassionally take one out and put it on the kitchen
floor, roll on it and then eat it and then continue eating the rest.
